I went to the doc. she told me that I have broken capillaries on my cheeks they are pretty bad. You can really see it when I am out in the sun and I get hot. She told me that I need to get laser treatment for my face to zap it, but I kinda don't want to a little scared. Do you guys know any kind of cream that could help. I have tried some stuff but it didn't work. any clue.

Hi, one of the best and most effective place would be Strip.. any of their branches does IPL treatments for almost any body parts. I've been going to them for years and would vouch for the goodness its given to me :D

Hi chelynn

Yes, I like the ambience too, so are you one of the lady waiting there? hehe.... My armpits fairer now, what I mean are I found my armpits fairer compare with the day of my last post... Not sure why but I'm quite happy with it.

How about yours, do update me about your progress.

Take care. :)

I was there as well for my 1st treatment yesterday. Indeed the lady was really good, she is very clear in her explanation about the IPL treatment. She is patient and helps me to clear whatever questions I have. Like you mentioned, she is very careful and caring during the treatment process. She will check with me whether I can take the shot, is it too painful? I don't really find it very painful though it is my 1st time doing IPL.

I like the ambience as well, very cosy & relaxing. I am happy with my 1st treatment as my underarm looks fairer. I am looking forward to a completely fair underarm as the treatment goes by and on the overall, I find her service excellent and I like it. :D

IPL Treatment at Allure 20

Post by chelynn » Tue, 05 Aug 2008 3:48 pm

Hi Miki

When I finished my treatment that day, I saw two ladies waiting at the seat, are you one of them?

I think my underarm should be fairer after the 1st treatment but I hope it becomes even more fairer after my 2nd treatment.

Questions 4 u: has your hair starts growing already? can you easily pluck it out? did the lady mention that we should not pluck the hair and just leave it to grow? how long should we wait to go back to our 2nd treatment? did she mention what we can't eat?

I tried to experiment if the hair do come out easily when plucked, and true enough, it comes off very easily.

Do keep me posted of your progress too! :D

Cheers,
Chelynn

Hi Feline, I don't have the actual cost cos they constantly have different promotions like 2 free sessions with every 6 paid, or 20% off package etc etc. If i recall correctly, my underarm IPL package was like S$600ish for 6 sessions almost 2-3 years ago. Big problem is 6 sessions will never be enough and you need follow-up sessions which also costs almost the same. Best is to go down for a trial session and chat with the therapist. BU the results are really good. I also did IPL for my brazillian area and its been great!

Hi Chelynn

I was there around 2 plus, what about you?

My hair havent grow out yet, as I plunk it out after the treatment cause I do not have the patience to wait for it fall. The lady said is ok as all the hair after the treatment have dead, you either wait for it natural fall or plunk it out, then wait for new batch of hair grow out and have 2nd treatment.

Today is just 1 wk after my 1st treatment, my underarm still very clean so I guess really need another 2 wks time then I need my 2nd treatment?

I've tried their trial ipl skin rejuvenation treatment last wednesday. The treatment is very good, it make my skin tone more even and also lightened my pimples scars. I am tempting to purchases their package, did anyone know need how many sessions to clear all the pimples scars?

hi xiaosii

Are you referring to IPL skin rejuvenate treatment with allure 20? I’ve purchased 5 sessions package with them and on my 3rd session (included the trial session), my freckle and blackhead 80% are gone, I use to have obvious and stubborn blackhead on my nose but after IPL they just diminished, after I start my IPL treatment I also seldom have pimple and of course my skin become fairer, guess IPL is effective to me.

If your pimple scars are not very serious, 5 to 6 sessions should be enough. You could approach them for the assessment, they are professional people to advise you on what you really need to do or not. :)

Where to go for IPL treatment?

Post by chelynn » Sun, 24 Aug 2008 7:11 pm

Hi Miki93,

I have yet to go for my 2nd session of IPL treatment as my hair has yet to grow long. How about you?

I find that their IPL treatment is really good value for money as you can really see the result after the 1st treatment. Really works wonder, cool!

:D
Cheers,
Chelynn
