Sounds like the BBQ was fun last week.

Why not we organise a activity this coming weekend.

How about we organise a game of Tennis (Doubles).
Or even cycling down to East Coast Park.

Welcome aboard Christiane.. We should get on to some activity soon..

thanks for suggestions Eastcoaser.. But you have not yet specified how far away you are from Melville.

Lets probably gather a list of activities first.. and then take on things based on response level.

- Evening drinks & get together (of course liked by all. BBQ pits in Melville are free & lots of them.)

- Night Camping in ECP. (sure many have tents)

- Playing Cards

- Karoke

- Physical Activities (Cycling/ Tennis / Squash)
I can do a bit of justice to squash but not the rest.

I think a new post with different name can bring more response I suppose.

Oh yeah.. I have done it a few times.. and its lovely ..

We can work it out for Sat Nite.. fix a time.. so people can plan their own activity.. a dip in the sea early morning can be fun..

Last week bbq pty started dull.. with just the 3 organisers part of it.. but soon about 7-8 more joined and a few peeped in.. on the whole we had some good gathering & gained new acquaintances.

Lets do one more soon.

Hi Christiane

I am kinda regular for the FNDC event every week. So I shall be leaving Melville park around 7.30 - 8pm tomorrow.. Here is the link below, and you should try and make it sometime.

Let me know if you & yr husband would like to join tomorrow's session, as we can arrange to go together.

So can meet up earlier say 6pm if possible. Else lets make it Saturday around noon, since most guys would be free.

Hi Christiane

was great meeting up with you y'day even if it was for a short while.

So lets start working on an activity as early.

Hey Ajit, should I put up a post for "Night Camping @ ECP" next saturday night? 11 oct 08?

Are we doing a mid week BBQ meeting? as usual drinks and finger food.
Wednesday Night ?

My house may also be free soon for session, as my family is shifting to Jurong. So Playing cards can be organised in cool home comfort.

Welcome PseaGal.. will sure keep you posted.

Cheers!!
