Can anyone clarify the laws on bicylces? Are people allowed to ride bikes on the pavement ( footpath /sidewalk)? I see about 3 or 4 cyclists per day trying to weave through crowds of people - surely its not safe. I've also been hit twice as it was dark and the bikes had no lights.
Also, are cyclists who ride on the road subject to the same laws as other road users? For example, I keep seeing cyclists go through red lights.
