What would you recommend? Its for my children, (all under 3), so i need to be able to remove all the bones. I used to buy flathead fillets back in Australia. I don't think you can get them here, or else they are called something different..?

fish fingers? or get salmon fillet towards the tail bit. another one to checkout is tenggiri which is the fish meat for making fish balls. you can get it in cutley, so the bone is only in the middle section.

Would agree, you can get frozen dory filets in NTUC pretty cheap. We also keep several bags of 'em in our freezer.

good to know about the already frozen ones at NTUC - i'll have to look. the ones at marketplace are already thawed so you shouldn't refreeze. thanks!

I give my 3 year old cod or sea bass steaks - I just bake them in the oven with salt, pepper and a little soya sauce. Taste great but on the pricey side.
