Advice to newbie on selecting maid pls !

Hi, we are moving to Singapore from Ireland in 10 days time, and I'm getting up to speed on the myriad of stories and experiences posters have regarding maids. Very helpful, but I'm wondering if anyone has input on experiences with specific nationalities. We have employed 3 nannies in our home over the last 7 years - Philippino, Polish and Irish, so I feel I have a good handle on what makes things work. Does anyone have any recommendation on Indonesian / Indian / Philippino / Malay maids ? Are they all pretty much the same ? We have two school going kids - 7 ands 4. Many thanks in advance.
