an "operation" to grow taller?PerfumeStore wrote:i think the most effective is to go for an operation. but that is expensive.
that's an understatement for the amount of unimaginable pain and agony the patient has to go through... to grow a few centimeters!
the best way is to correct one's posture and learn to boost one's self-confidence!

Every pill or supplement or stuff worthless once you're grown up. When you're still in puberty, it may slightly support your growth but that's all. Only support. The rest is genetics.
Once you're an adult the only way to increase height is to improve posture and do yoga or other good stretching sports. But be warned, the effect is also limited to a few inches at most.
Cheers

actually, there is. but it involves sawing your leg bones into two, putting metal spacers, allowing bone to grow then removing those spacers. and i also read that it's s#!+ painful. and I think we all know how long it takes for bone to grow.
so, yes, there is a way to grow taller. but it's so painful and probably so expensive that it's not worth it. it's like cosmetically changing your looks so that you won't look your original race.

Oops! That's what happens when you read too fast. Read the very last line of the poster's message above yours. I believe sawing leg bones constitutes surgery doesn't it?nakatago wrote:actually, there is. but it involves sawing your leg bones into two, putting metal spacers, allowing bone to grow then removing those spacers. and i also read that it's s#!+ painful. and I think we all know how long it takes for bone to grow.

Just a question. As the high is dependent from the DNA. If the person in his childhood was tall , and supposed to be tall when he'll be adult, until had a disease and get some drugs ( wich slown down his growth) . If that person isn't already 18 but taking less ( almost no anymore drugs) can he expects to have a growth spurt in the following years ?
I know, that's the kind of question you ask a doctor, and here it's just a forum. But I would like to have opinion from ppl =)
( and yes, that's my case ^^' )
