BBQ set

Post by Zeenit » Mon, 14 Jul 2008 5:16 pm

I have noticed that lots of post have said bring a BBQ set as its very difficult to find one in Singapore.

As we hope to rent a condo with BBQ area.........Hopefully
If we do get what we hope for, where do we use the BBQ set. Can we store it in the commune area or do we have to keep it in the apartment?

thanks again for all the help with my silly questions but important to my husband and myself

Then I would assume you would never ever eat in a restuarant or hawker centre correct?

If you have one, keep it on the balcony. Jst put a cover over it that's all.

Oriental City is absolutely nothing like a Hawker Centre but more like a Food Court

You can always use a new wire mesh. That way you know your food is cooked on a clean mesh.

in my residence, the management require a booking and deposit before you can do your bbq. if the bbq area is not clean after use, it will be deducted from the deposit. so far so good at the bbq area. everyone been keep it clean, etc.

It is easy to buy a BBQ in Singapore... gas, electric, charcoal fired... it's just that they cost out the wazoo for a decent one. There are quite a few dedicated BBQ stores, and many DIY stores keep a couple out front.

So, if you're getting free freight, bring yours along... if you're paying the freight... well, that might be about as expensive as buying one here.

Strong Eagel, we getting a free container, hence I can fret about filling it up. Otherwise I would not even consider buying anything I did not need on a daily basis. Well when our credit card bill arrive I might have to leave Singapore..........Husband will kill me when he sees the amount..... :P
