A 3 month contract is highly unlikely on an apartment, although accommodation shouldn't be that difficult for exchange students, the student office is the place to contact, and to be honest Denmark is a damn sight more safer for renting than in Singapore, with legal tenant protection. So scammers not so many of, but businessmen and high prices maybe expected, after all there is 25% GST.tengnp wrote:Hi Danes
I am DESPERATE. HELP
I am looking for a small apartment for my son and his classmate in Copenhagen, Denmark; Preferably in the Frederiksberg district near the Copenhagen Business School. They are both University Exchange Students from Nanyang Business School (NTU) and will need the accommodation from 13 Aug to 31 Dec 08. I was told the school does help, but the accommodation are not suitable, so we've been trying to get alternatives. Problem is that on the net, most advertiser are scammers and it is near impossible to put deposits down when there is no guarantee that we'll not be scammed and the bonafide agents only rent to Danish companies.
If any of you can assist to put in touch with reliable people you know who may be renting out the apartment, pls do let me know. Contact me at [email protected]
Thx so much. God bless
There must have been a misunderstanding somewhere but the implication is that you hope someone- could be anyone, local or expat from any country, would come forward with some contacts to help out your son and Singporean friend. I'm sure there's no hostility as such. It's just that the accommodation put up in this forum is mainly for people looking for places to live in SG only. Hope you'll get lots of support. Good luck.tengnp wrote:Post deleted due to hostility to local participation
