Would parents like to view their child's activities over the web camera in the child care centre? Or maybe even have a video conference with their little one when they miss them while at work? Let's have some comments.

What are your views? Do you have any thoughts of your own? You should post your own thought if you want people to respond.
OR
Why are you asking? Considering that you registered today and only asked that question. It would be a shame if you are trying to solicit or advertise something as it's against the forum's policy and would just get your post deleted and your account locked.

Yes, I would like to view my child's activities over the web camera in a child care centre but not if it affects the fees too much as the current fees are already quite high. : )

Ain't there a law against it anyway? I know I'm new but in my last country you can't even take photos of your own kids at sporting/cultural events.
Lucky we don't have kids, I guess

i thought the whole idea of putting your kids into a day care was that you DIDN'T have to watch them.

I was speaking to a Kindergarden owner a month or so ago since i'm looking to put my son in one soon.
We got onto Separation Anxiety or some such thing and i said something like "yeah, the child might become emotional and find it difficult" the owner actually said; "No, i was talking about the parents."
If you do the due diligence into the kindergarden/play-group at the beginning, leave the rest alone.

When I pay my money to the people who look after my kids I assume that I dont need to be watching them via webcam as the nice people at the school are doing that for me (along with educating them) besides would any teacher want to be under constant surveillance, or any body for that matter?
