There are tons of places that offer hair removal. One of the latest technologies out there is a technology (not brand) called SHR, which stands for...get this....Super Hair Removal. Corny et al. It uses near infrared-pulsed light and the treatment affords minimal discomfort.

Low-level energy and high repetition pulses are directed through the skin, which results in the hair follicles absorbing heat energy, which prevents hair re-growth.

At the same time, SHR protects the epidermis and provides a speedier procedure, higher levels of comfort and lesser incidences of missed spots.

You'd need 5-6 sessions. Cost will vary depending on where and who you see.

there is a huge misconception that with laser or IPL treatment, your hair will disappear (after a few sessions) - this is a big lie & any consultant tt tells you that, you shld be wary.

after a few sessions of laser or IPL can only help reduce hair growth & give you finer hair so its not so visible to the eye.

for laser hair treatment - i recommend dr bc ng (located at goldhill plaza). His prices are cheapest around for LASER treatment.

as for IPL, there are many aesthetic clinics around tt offer this service (incl. beauty salons tt claim to offer this service but I am wary of beauty salons as they are not professional trained/NOT doctors to handle the machine). I go to a GP clinic at tampines. I pay $2000 for armpits & full leg (amount paid is for 5-6 sessions).

Hi there, I heard there were like machines or products you could even use at home… like laser for home use, basically, that would give you results as well, and you’d just have to buy the machine. Does anyone have any experience with such home products? If so, do they work and what’s the cost? What do you recommend for hair removal? Does laser really work, and what about electrolysis? Thanks!
