Robertson quay living

Post by caz m » Tue, 08 Jul 2008 9:54 am

Hi,

I'm looking for somewhere to rent - really like the look of robertson quay and river place in particular. What is it like living there? Does anyone have any other great suggestions for up to $5000 a month for 1-2 bed?

Thanks!

Robertson Quay is a great area if you want to live an expat life, as most of the residents there are expat. There are lots of bars and restaurants, so the social aspect is good, but it does mean that every time you eat out it's quite expensive. There aren't many $3 chicken rice places nearby. It's also a 10-15 min walk to the nearest MRT (Clarke Quay)

ther'es plenty!

There's pier

there's river walk

there's the robertson quay itself

and plenty are being built as we speak (when you need by haha)

it's a great area, but bare in mind with the MRTs...clark quay MRt and somerset MRt both are not within 5 nor 10 mins walking distance

but buses all around, on river valley, on havlock, on clementu? still easy enough to get around
and of course there's liang court, great world for shopping, 3 supermarkets close by within 8 mins walking distance

plus, plenty of nice restaurants, there is $3 dish, it's on Killiney road!
