Carving - Sawasdee Lady Statue

Post by Matt26 » Thu, 03 Jul 2008 5:30 pm

Any advice where to get some nice Thai wood carvings in Singapore. Looking for a Sawasdee Lady Statue for our entrance.
Thanks
Matt

Best advice, don't buy one here, go to Thailand and get it there. Much better range, much better price etc etc. Surely you are going on holiday there sometime while you are here? :D

Thanks - yes will very likely check and buy during one of my BKK trips, nevertheless shopping around and checking such things in SIN would be nice too. :) Unfortunately haven't seen such places in SIN. You can go for the expensive antique at Tanglin but would prefer some more down to earth shops to stroll around ...
But thanks
