Down memory Lane

Postby ksl » Wed, 02 Jul 2008 10:01 pm

If it wasn't for all our pleasant memories of the good times, what would we do, I quite often flash back, when listening to music from my era, and to honest I can, just start giggling away to myself.

The wife thinks I'm a raving nut, although she's 14 years younger and doesn't realise what fun i had  and some of the  moments in my life, while walking home from dances, with a young chick on my arm, of course we always had to go through the grave yard, to seek out dracula on a winters night, I often remember them complaining of the early 19 century grave stones being so cold on their bottoms. God bless em.

Anyway I thought it was a good idea to start this thread, so you can take a trip down memory lane, by posting your favourite music links from youtube, so we can all, get a feeling of the moods you where all feeling in those precious moments! Lets all take a trip down memory lane.

I was born 1950, and at a young age, I recall my older brother and sister singing songs from the top 10 Radio Luxemburg, I guess it was around 1958 and Buddy Holly, Perry Como, Elvis, Duane Eddy, was all the rage
