shoulder blade chill

Post by hertfordshire_lad » Mon, 30 Jun 2008 11:30 pm

wonder if anyone can help...

...i'm recovering from a heavy cold/flu/cough but am still getting these weird aches in my left shoulder blade. it seems to be much worse after travelling on the mrt or sitting under the air con.

does anyone else suffer from muscle/joint pain after spells in the air/con? it seems to take a long time to go away even if i sit in the heat for a few hours.

any suggestions anyone? could it be a trapped nerve? if so what should I do?

i'm here in singapore alone, but first time i got ill so its a bit strange for me.

it might be your spine or rib that might need manipulation or treatment.

or it could be a simple strain from your prior illness. the only way to tell is to have it examined by a doctor.

hard to tell without reviewing your medical history. cheers!

doc.

THank you so much feline.eyes - that is a wonderful reply. A lot more info than I could have hoped for.

As it happens, the annoying ache (reclassified from a pain) is easing away. I dont think it's anything serious now as it tends to get worse after a day in the aircon (I used to love aircon) and its fine in the mornings now.

Actually had a quick shoulder massage and they say I'm not sitting right at the workstation, so combined with the aircon and the recent bout of flu, I think I've foudn the reasons for it. just hope it goes away... will try to buy a wheatbag - seems like it could help...thanks again for all the suggestions.
