Post by hannahhanj » Mon, 30 Jun 2008 5:03 pm

Hey,
I'm looking to relocate in October from London UK.
Does anyone know of a recruitment agency in the UK which recruits for Singapore?
I'm an operations manager for an e-commerce company.
Any help or thoughts greatly appreciated!!!

I am not sure what Cos' are out in Sg but if you can tell me more ie. what kind of services or companies you would normally be employed by I can help a bit more.

I work for example in Finance and I would use Michael Page and Hays. Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks for getting back to me Zeenit.

I have worked for a start-up company online clothing retailer. Job spec covers operations, logistics, reporting/analysis and fraud prevention.
Before that I have worked in operations for sainsburys home delivery.

Areas I am considering:
operations, general management, strategy and consulting (I don't have vast experience in these, do you know how possible it is to get into as a new starter?)

I also have a masters in Biochem which I am vaguely looking into the possibility of getting back into... graduated from Oxford Uni in 2005.

Hi, I just had a look on Michael Page and they have loads of options to choice from. Soemtime you need to be in the right place at the right time. So have a look, then call them and register. That way you will get on their books and they will find you a job. The jobs ( fees for placing you) in the UK is always paid by the employer.

Having just been through the job hunting lark, I found very quickly that employment agencies in Singapore are a complete and utter waste of time. Even the so called big well known ones mentioned by Bonbon are useless.
