:D Now there's a good point !

But nothing any of you say can convince me to be happy without hot water in the kitchen. Even to boil a saucepan of water for pasta takes a longer time because one must start with cold water instead of hot. Sigh...............................
So that's it now. Nought else to be said.
Just let me be sad- and buggar off ! :lol:

Have you at least bought yourself one of those hot water pots?
They look like giant thermos bottles.

Press on the top and they dispense hot water as you need it.
They don't take up much counter space.

I managed to get a 7 liter one from Giant, last year! it's also got a compartments for warm & boiling.

double barrel 2 hot water pots next to the sink should do the trick. :P

tip on cooking pasta. if you are gonna mix the pasta to the sauce (not sauce to the pasta), then dont rince the pasta with cold water after cooking. :)
