Blogs Recommendation To Start One

Post by Barczar » Thu, 26 Jun 2008 10:30 am

I've never been one of these computer savy types, but I've got a little project that I'm getting ready to start and I'd like to set up a personal Blog to document the progress. This blog is not intended for the general public, but for specific people that I want to keep informed. I've been looking around at the various blog site, but am now more confused as to which blog site to use. :???:

Can anyone recommend a real idiot proof blog site for me to start this thing off with?

Thanking you all in advance.

Blogger/Blogspot is probably the most idiot-proof provider out there. The interface is pretty much WYSIWYG and you can choose various security settings, including password viewing etc.

Care to share what this project is about?

Banana - Thanks for that, If you figure it's idiot proof then it sounds perfect and I'll give it a try! As for the project, it's nothing special, just a way to keep some people informed of what's going with me out here in Singapore whilst I try out some new things on this crazy little island! I figure I should do more during my time in Asia and that way I can document my life a little more and thought this would be a good way of setting up a sort of 'sounding board' for some friends and family back home.

SMS - :D Right back at ya buddy! 8-)

Yeap, I've been blogging for 2 years on Blogger and even a computer illiterate like me is doing fine. Besides they really do constantly improve their offerings. However, more advanced blogger friends told me that they prefer Typepad, for example, for its more advanced features.
