Part time maid that does cooking as well?

Post by mavsmania » Wed, 25 Jun 2008 4:06 pm

I browsed a few (including a very old) part time maid threads, and researched recommended agency sites, but it looks like all the part time maids do only cleaning and laundry.

Can they also cook?

I live by myself, so having a live-in maid will be too much for me. But it'll be nice to know that there's food waiting for me in the fridge when I go home from work in the evening.

Has anyone had a similar arrangement?

One agency said if there's cooking and etc, the rate will be higher.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Can i know what are you willing to pay?
i used to have a local part timer who did cooking for my dad.
because both the maid and my dad like the traditional hokkien dishes, she does the cooking.
not sure what is your preference.

If cooking is really such a drama for you and you cant find a cooking PT maid, take a look at the companies that home deliver meals. Surpirsingly cheap and always something different.
