jobs for pharma graduate
I am from India.my husband got job in singapore n he is going to come next month. I will come after 3 months on a dependent pass.I completed B.PHARMACY in 2006.after that I got trained in Medical Coding for a period of three months.but i found that it was of no use as experience is required to get a job in coding.I have been idle since two years. After coming to singapore I want to do job.I dont have any experience. Will I get a job there? (OR) Should i need to study further to get a job?is there any course that is in demand for pharma graduates?so that with in this three months I will learn that so as to get a job.pls any one do reply me.
you might find the following links interesting for an over-view?
http://www.pss.org.sg/main/component/op ... le/id,258/
http://statutes.agc.gov.sg/non_version/ ... 929-000073
http://www.moh.gov.sg/mohcorp/careers.aspx?id=96
http://www.hpp.moh.gov.sg/HPP/HPP_Home.html
lastly, this is the singapore pharmacy board website... most relevant?

i must mention that for healthcare professions in singapore, like in many countries... it's always catch 22:
generally no job without registration... and no registration without a job. you're gonna have to jump through a lot of hoops and knock on a lot of doors to get (finally) registered.
work hard at it. you'll find something if you've the necessary qualifications and determination.
