Anyone know of any Dog Boarding place with reasonable price?

Post by ChupaBear » Mon, 23 Jun 2008 5:53 pm

Does anyone know of any place with dog boarding service? I don't really like to send my dog to the so-called pet hotel where they actually just put the dog in a cage and let it be. I'm looking for more like a "home stay" place.

Anyone has any good suggestion? (by the way, my dog is a 2 years old male jack russell/ sterilized)

Thanks

There are a few kennels and hotels in my links page in my signature link. You can start there. I cannot vouch for any of them however, others have so I've included their links for convenience.

Just wondering if you manage to find a niec place for your dog? I'm moving over there in a couple of weeks & have a 9 month Lab. I need a place for him to stay for a week until the lease in my places starts.

k9kulture is reputable. My boss left her 2 dogs there when she was away for a short holiday. You can take your dogs there to check it out. It has a day care schedule (like those to a child) packed with activities for your little pooch.

For many years I have used "house sitters" rather than putting the dogs into a kennel and now that I am in Singapore (18mths) I have used house sitters and again, always been more than happy.

You may like to consider that.

A house sitter will come in and take care of your pets while you are away, they can also check for mail, water the garden or plants etc.

It allows the animals to be comfortable in their own surroundings too.
