renting/borrowing toddler toys...?

Post by tashahay » Tue, 17 Jun 2008 3:35 am

I'll be visiting my folks in Singapore for one month this summer (from July 8th) with my 15 month old and am trying to think of how to keep him entertained without carting lots of (bulky!) things from here in the US. I was thinking that if any families will be away from Singapore over this period and might have a selection of toys for a similar aged boy that they would be happy for us to rent (or borrow!) whether you could get in touch? Hope this is not too crazy a request... And thanks in advance! natasha PS any other suggestions/resources are welcome! [email protected]

i used rent-a-toy. i rented an indoor swing/slide set. very handy for those rainy days. it was about $49 for a month if i remember correctly. no extra charge for delivery or pickup.

hi there

I use the toyrentalclub a lot and they do weekly and monthly hires so all suits. You can also go down there and play which is great. The toys are lovely and very clean.

There are also heaps of things to do with 15 month olds such as
going to vivo city and playing water and riding the mono rail
Going to the science centre and pushng buttons and touching things
there are free play times at gymboree at both harbourfront and tanglin and then there are all the usual attractions zoo, bird park etc.

Good luck with the flight!!!!!
