oil painting reproductions

Post by paintlover » Sat, 14 Jun 2008 10:53 pm

Hi,

I am Archi from Kuala Lumpur (Brick Fields), Malaysia. I bought a canvas from UK long back but it is now in bad position. I am looking for oil painting reproductions for it as I love it very much.

Is there any companies in Singapore offering reproductions?

I would say your best bet is China you can actually search the copy artists out on the internet, but be careful who you deal with, I can say you can get a good deal of a famous pieces from 25 to 100 US$ if you careful, and take your time to find the right one. Don't get ripped off on postage charges, which many online website try.

This one seems quite reasonable on price, be careful of the postage price, I haven't checked. Best to have it framed in Singapore, cheaper to send, rolled up in a tube! Don't get conned by the postage, check with Singpost for express airmail charge and weight!

Only pay what is reasonable.

I believe if you cannot find a picture, they will find it for you and reproduce it, artists from all over China have gathered in the city for mass production of repro works.
