hii all, i will be shifting house soon.DOes anyone know where I can get boxes from to pack my things. I will be shifting the boxes by my car first and later calling the movers to move the furniture.

Do the movers actually provide you with the boxes first ? :???:

most moving companies will provide boxes upon request before the move. if it is a larger firm where they are doing the packing the boxes are free - if it is a smaller outfit and they are not doing the packing - or only partial pack (big stuff) they will charge you per box.

fedex. go pick up supplies every few days. if you see a parked fedex truck, ask for some supplies also.

you're restricted to their largest size which isn't big. but you'll have a whole buncha nice sturdy boxes in no time.

who... me? i... i didn't! :)

i'm not sure if UPS/DHL is as generous with supplies.

Hi,

The movers can provide you with the boxes ahead of time so you can pack your stuff.

And they'll pick up the boxes after a week or so when you've unpacked. Just call. When they do this, they'll return the deposit you've paid for the boxes (around $1-2 a box, can't remember)
