Try Google {medical insurance +Singapore} works a treat and this way Insurance Agents do not need to try subterfuge to solicit business here and need not try to tell you to "PM me" for more information. Beware of agents who solicit on the forums as they are not much higher off the ocean floor than the Real Estate Agents who troll these pages trying to hook unsuspecting people.

well, having an agent to service you isnt that bad after all.

If you have an agent, whenever you had doubt or any new concerns, what you need is just to make a call to your agent and things will be solved soon.

But if you want to avoid cost and do everything yourself, ultimately, you will have to do everything yourself. Paperwork, claiming, planning and etc.

Do you want to spend your precious time handling it yourself, or spend the precious time with your kids instead?

After all, agents are professionals that knows what and how to protect individual. If you want to do-it-yourself, there might be a chance that you will overlook certain issues and concern. Who is going to explain all the clauses and writings?

So paying the agent a little commission, using money to buy time. Isn't that a bigger deal?

Nobody is saying an agents are all bad. Only the ones who troll forums trying to snag clients in a forum that forbids solicitation or advertising in the forum.

Understand?

Hi

Have been here since Jan 08. First thing I got was health insurance. Found out that most insurance companies cater only to Singaporean Citizens and PR holders.-- except AXA.

You may try calling their hotline or I can give you my agent's contact details.

All the best!

R

You are already advertising your company in your signature which incidentally should be only one line or one icon (forum rules - I have edited). Should you persist you may find your account disabled.
