Accountant for Canadians working in SG??

Post by kn1ghtx » Tue, 03 Jun 2008 5:52 am

Hi everyone...

I'm a Canadian Citizen and will soon be flying to Singapore because I already got a job offer there...

so, how do you guys do the income tax to Canada?? I'm sure you all declared non-residency to Canada, right??
Is there any Personal International Tax Accountant for us there in Singapore?? any idea how much the service fee is??

another complication is because I still have a property in Canada, even though it's currently listed for sale.

I just wanna know that when the time comes for us to file Income Tax for the year of 2008, I can find an International Tax Accountant in SG.

Thanks...

Why not use services of an accountant back in Canada? That (and porn) is what the Internet is for.

well, I never really used an accountant before for my income tax file. I always used QuickTax and did it myself.

so I did see an accounting who does taxes for non-resident Canadians and International Taxes. She quoted $500 CAD for her service of Income Tax year 2008 (to be filed in April 2009).

and I'm still trying to sell my condo here too. currently listed on MLS.
