Moving to Singapore

Post by thenewmover » Mon, 02 Jun 2008 3:39 am

Hi,

I have got an offer from a European Bank in Singapore as a JAVA/J2EE developer and have a few questions before I decide to move to Singapore from India. I was wondering if this forum is a nice place to get an answer to a few of these quetions.

1) How is the work culture in Singapore generally and also does anyone have an idea about the work culture in Credit Sussie.By work culture I mean is the life hectic or how is the work timings.

2) How much would it cost me to get a studio appartment for rent and which areas would it be preferable to stay new Changi Business Park.

It would be nice if I can get a nice understanding of these questions before I can decide to move there.

Thanks :?

Can't help with the work culture but all the rest is described ad nauseum in these forums. All you have to do it use the search function and a few key words. (aren't these types of things do-able in Java as well?)

After doing a thorough search and read if you then have a specific question or two we will be more than glad to help.
