OMGGG. You totally look like another person now.
your right eye is a little swollen but it doesn't affect your now handsome look.

But really feel uneasy and embarrassing, I hope I can overcome this hiccups, and adjust myself when I'm back tml night...

Well to those who is doing their PS soon, wishes U speedy recovery. That is what most wants and to look handsome/pretty as ever again~!!!:)

How much you spent for rhinoplasty?

Dr Hsu's quote for rib rhino is around 100k NTD which translates to about ~ 4.5k SGD
For less drastic cases whereby just ear/septal cartilage is used instead of rib, it's much cheaper. His quote varies so you have to email him with pictures for him to give you the right quote.

Dr Hsu seems like a really good and reliable doctor, will definitely check him out when I'm in TW. Rest well, yeah? I'm sure the result is getting better by the day.

kittygirl8 --> ahhh kittygirl!! so hapi to hear tat u've rch taipei & done ur rhino. thxs for sharing ur experience. walau.. sgd$100+ juz bcoz u accidentally misplaced the door key. =.=''' hope u didn't hv to pay for it. heard a lot of gd reviews on dr chuang's professionalism & tat he is a veri patience doc. but his charges for rhino is higher than dr kao? hope to hear ur full story on both surgery soon. ^^ rest well & drink plenty of water. *HuGz*

yeah i agree.. he's kinda ex.. maybe bcoz he's rather reputable ba. im not sure which taiwan surgeon is specialize in face reshaping.. sry can't help..

Final updates - Last visit to Dr Hsu clinic just now. He told me he uses only one of my rib which is about 6cm. He told me number of ribs use is determine by your own ribs' size and also for those who done surgery on their nose like those silicone foreign object materials before, may need more. Today Dr Hsu also share with me that he just finish operating a HK lady, which he have to use 2 of her ribs due to her small ribs.

Dr tsai also does face reshaping.

but i would think their prices are all rather similar... same prices as in korea.

Face contouring (Cheekbone shaving, jawline contouring) or facial bone work is usually expensive. That's just the nature of the surgery. If you're talking about botox jabs then it's not really expensive but the effects are not permanent.

Taiwan's face contouring price is around the same range as korea, not much difference. The only difference might be when you factor in accomodation + air tix.

Anyway, i hope you don't choose your doctor just based on your budget. Especially not for bone work. Once you shave your bone, it's gone FOREVER. It's not like a nose job where you can get revisions and what not, not that i advocate that. You go through one jaw shaving, that's the jaw you will have for the rest of your life. Choose wisely. It's better to save up, go to a doc who does good work than save now, regret later

i appreciate your advice. i've thought about that as well. since their prices are more or less the same, i'll save up and do it in taiwan then. I feel more comfortable with going to taiwan. also, it's quite a struggle to choose whether to do it or not. I don't want to put myself to go through unnecessary pain and spend that kind of money but then i just hated my face so much. I'm also scared what if the shape isn't what i want it to be. sigh.
Dr Chai seems like a good doctor. anyone went to him before?
