I have did my fair research and will go with Dr Kao at Taipei.

I will stay in Taipei 7-10 days. Please reply me asap. I will love to discuss with you more.
Hi, I'm from Canada as well. Although I have double eyelids, they are somewhat hidden and my eyes appear small, swollen and sleepy. I'm interested in making my eyes look bigger, less swollen and more awake. I have some extra upper eyelid which I think should be removed. On top of that, I need to increase my bridge, extend the length of my nose a little plus refine the tip. I haven't consulted with any Drs yet but from this forum, Dr Kao's name came up many times. I am hoping to go to one doctor only to get both procedures done at the same time so as to avoid suffering twice. And like many people, I am seeking companion for emotional support and perhaps share some lodging costs too. Can someone send me Doctor Kao and Doctor Hsu website links? I just went to Dr Young's website and he seems to be good with double eye lid surgeries. How long will I out be out for? It is advisable to get both done at the same time? Any suggestions? Thanks
Hey girls! I am interested in going to Kao at the end of June after the 25th, or early July. I am looking for companion also. I have been to Taipei before once. I understand mandarin and can read traditional chinese. I am from Macau, currently studying in the US. :) I will be traveling to Taipei from the US. Please let me know if you want to buddy up! It will be so exciting!

Dividing Taiwan dollars by 30 will give you the approx Cdn$. If you are using credit cards, the banks will use the effective rate of the day + 0.25 % to 0.5% of admin charge depending on the card used. Amex has the lowest admin charge but unsure if it is widely accepted in Taiwan especially clinics.

Hi, No1029

Have you confirmed your surgery date yet? I haven't even started communicating with the Drs of interest yet. I will try to contact Dr. Kao and send him some pics next week. Hope to book something in late June or early July. I'm planning to stay at most 12-13 days if there are stitches to remove. Since I'm very new here, I can't PM with anyone. Can you send me Dr Kao's contact, phone and email address please? Not sure if he understands email in English. I can't write any chinese but I can speak and read somewhat fluently. I'm assuming everyone within this quote is female and in their early or mid twenties. Just an FYI, I'm in my thirties. Yes, it is rather late to be considering these procedures but...after looking at myself for these many years, I'm still thinking about the changes...
Btw, if anyone wants to contact me, feel free to email me at [email protected] I think buddying up is an excellent idea coz lord knows we will need all the support we can during our down time. I believe somewhere in the posts that there was someone (likely a student) living near the clinic and was offering food delivery services to the "people" in need for a fee. I think all of us will be housebound for at least a week and having someone delivering food and checking up on us would be nice. Let me what your thoughts are. Thanks.

You can change money at the airport.

How do you get to Dr Kao's clinic from the airport?

Hi everyone,

I am new here and I am planning to go to Taiwan in either late May or early June. I have went to Taiwan a few times before and have consulted 3 doctors before so I am pretty familiar with the place. I understand that a lot of you guys are also planning to go during May or June. Anyone have already confirmed their accomodation there already?

Not bad....haha...gonna wait for the de-swelling part though I'm 10 days post op....
Hi Michiko,
Do you mind sharing your before and after pics with me? I am still debating my rhino job between Dr.Kao and Dr.Hsu. I have heard that Kao is quite conservative and I did notice from the post op pics that the changes were not dramatic perhaps even too subtle to notice. I understand the new nose will take up to a year to settle but are you happy with yours so far? I'm too new so I can't PM with anyone here so please email me at [email protected] Thanks.

Hello all!
I'm going this summer to get rhino done. I'm still debating between Dr. Wang in China and Dr. Kao in Taiwan. As my time is flexible but most probable in August or late July. Please let me know! I promise I'm very supportive :)
