hello nosecraze, regarding ur rhinoplasty with Dr kao, may I know how much he charged you in total? thanks!nosecraze wrote:Government doctor. Yeah I 2nd ur sentiments!trilogytwist wrote:hi nosecraze , what is a GOV doctor??
I genuinely like Dr Kao cos he seems like a doctor that really cares for patient n not just for the money .
Dr Kao's friend Dr Chen does the eye surgeries.
The material use of rib/silicone does not determine the degree of change.
It is the requested height of the nose bridge or the alarplasty/tiplasty done that determines it.

Hi hi..i would love to help u make your decision by sending you my photos but it will be unfair to Dr Kao as i am only 1mth+ post op and rhinoplasty recovery is 1-3 years....my nose picture should not be used for your plastic surgeon decision.drose2022 wrote:
Hey so sorry to hear about your experience. Maybe it takes time to heal. Can you please send before and after photos to me as I am deciding on a doctor and was thinking of going to dr kao. drose2022@gmail.com. thanks!

i am just not happy with my current nose now..but that doesn't mean i will be unhappy with the final shape. I did receive compliments from others though...

My eyes have recovered very well!
Hi All,
My eyes have recovered I think almost fully already and the results are great!
Many have commented that it is very natural and even ask me to refer Dr Kao to them.
But still it would have been perfect if just a bit lower. I think guys who are planning to do double eyelid, please do it subtle and low because you will look too "beautiful" with too high folds.

I can only say that my nose is still swelling and I'm still wearing a mask at work. The columella portion still hurts because there are stitches inside. But I'm quite happy with the results cause at least my very bulbous tip is not that bulbous even if it is swollen now.Aventurine wrote:Dear Michiko

hi guys
i heard there are many ways for non-surgical double eyelids?
I already have eyelids but want the inner corners to be opened
so i dont want ANY cutting or scary stuff done (i pretty much love my eyes 90% of the time) but sometimes i can look really tired.
Ok so what are the options?
There is one called Double Suture Twisting (DST started in 2001 in japan)
but i am not a candidate for that because it is for thin skin and little eye fat...
i on the other hand have the complete opposite.. i have eye fat and thick skin.....lol
What r the other non-surgical eyelid operations?

Anyone knows what's the best solution for Lower Eyelids?
Now that I am done with my upper eyelids, I want to tighten and lift my lower eyelids...
Anyone know whats's the best solution for this? There's filler and transferring of fats to the cheeks but there are not permanent... So Dr Kao recommended infraorbital implant due to my infraorbital hollowing, it kinda makes my lower eyelids looks droopy and tired...
Anyone has experience in this? I saw many celebs have this 臥蠶 which makes the eyes look brighter and friendlier when you smile. The lower eyelids are tight and lifted... Of course it can easily become eyebags if too much of this... A very good example of celeb having this feature is Show Luo Zhi Xiang...

Hi,
I am thinking of going to Taipei on 6 June with Dr Kao. And I am looking for companion to share lodging and stay around 7-10 days in Taipei. Is there anyone interested?
This is my first time overseas surgery. I am looking into rhinoplasty and genioplasty.
I already e-mail and fix an appointment. Please let me know if you guys have a review to share with me.
I will appreciate it.

Hi, I am from Singapore, I have travelled to Taipei twice before so I am quite familiar with the place. And I am looking for companion to go with me to Taipei in June or July to share lodging costs and some emotional support and treat it as a fun travelling experience.rhinoguy wrote:so looks like I'll be going in June anyway.![]()
I'm so nervous right now, and not sure what to prepare.
For those who are from North America (I'm from Canada), if you can give me some input/tips on traveling to Taipei, I would really appreciate it!
I'm particularly confused about money matters... like: the best way of converting my money to TWD from CAD, and using credit card overseas.. I'm calling my bank soon also to find out.
thanks all!
I have did my fair research and will go with Dr Kao at Taipei.
I will stay in Taipei 7-10 days. Please reply me asap. I will love to discuss with you more.
