Besides, if you r young, bound to have some chubby dere. Age will remove the chubby....

i have a sort of a squarish n round face n also long face..my face shape is weird. It looks worst when i am taking pictures...

I am seriously contemplating sliding genio but was wondering how dangerous it is

I did my double eyelid under LA not GA. Dr Kao will numb your eyelid then perform the stitching. As for the filler just inject.

I left right away after the surgery. It takes max 1.5hrs only. Filler is same price quoted for the Double Eyelid stitching. Dr Kao did asked me to revisit him several days later and I did and he assured me one again once the swelling goes down the height will be lower and the blue black and tiredness look will be gone which is true because I think it looks better and better with each passing day. You got to be patient and hardworking. Keep applying cold pack. I also apply hot pack on an alternate basis and the hot pack helps alot especially the blue black bruises with blood clots...

I think he really did a superb job just that I thought it will be perfect if it's lower by just a bit more. Well hope that swelling hasn't fully subside yet so maybe still can go lower abit more. Hahaha. But i think after a week it has subsided at least 90%.

The reason why I chose Dr Kao is after alot alot of research... I prefer to just go to one doctor for anything with regards to PS. But most importantly it's the rave reviews about his attitude, work, aesthetic views and honesty that makes me decided on him. I just thought if I go to some other doctors and if the results are even slightly off what I expected, I will definitely blame myself for not going to him. But going to him, I have can have no regrets... which I did. Except like what I said, it will be perfect if the fold is lower but then again, swelling has not fully subsided yet so hopefully it will go down more.

I just did my double eyelid stitching & filler with Dr Kao and back in sg already. Rested for almost a week and the swelling has gone done alot.
Highly recommend Dr Kao for anyone interested in PS.

Dr Kao is definitely a good doc. You cannot fault him on his attitude, delivery and expertise. He is sincere and makes an effort to communicate with you. I am satisfied with the result but just thought that the fold is bit higher than what I desired and the filler has somehow made me look older and haggard... Dr Kao definitely insist on a natural fold for men so as not to look feminine so the fold is ok just that I felt I will have like it to be abit lower. My fold is only about 5mm max. Maybe the swelling has not gone down fully yet so that is why the fold is still high so I am hoping it can nest in a bit more and become narrower.

As for the filler, Dr Kao gave me a big discount and I really appreciate it!
But the filler didnt make me look better but instead made me looked tired and haggard... probably also due to swelling and bruise haven gone away yet but I thought filler has zero recovery downtime? I did filler around my tear duct. I'm worried if this persists, I need to go for another filler to fill up my lower eyelid so that it will be balanced.

Greatly appreciate if someone has the experience to share on double eyelid stitching and filler. How long does it take for the stitching to recover fully and how long does it take for the filler to recover and the selling to go away...

BTW, Dr Kao will be in sg for a 3days talk on rhinology in end Mar or early April I think... I forgot the exact date...

May I know which hospital u do for your opertaion (Tri-Service General Hospital, Neihu Main Service ) or Kanning Hospital?

His operation at which either hospital depends on which day of the surgery? Is that it?

And does he do consultation in hospital? Or like clinic?

Quite confused by his Kr Kao website.

I went to Tri Serive Hospital Neihu.

Just email him and he will advise you his schedule & where to meet.

He is very prompt in replying his emails so just email him.

Hi thanks for the opinion, i have sent my photos to Dr Charan in thailand, Dr Chuang in Taiwan and Dr Park in Korea. I have mix reponse from them. Dr Charan is asking me to do sliding genio and possibly zygoma reduction but he said sliding genio alone will give me a lot of improvement. Dr Chuang didn't reply and dr park advise me to do a mandible reduction plus chin augmentation..seriously considering it but mandible reduction is dangerous surgery.

Actually i have no idea what dr kao did to my nose..lol. During consultation i only told him that i want a small small nose and my main concern is small nose. He said ok and i didn't show him any picture during consultation, only on the day of operation he asked me whether i have any celebrity nose in mind and that was then i showed him Janice Man's photo.

I wanted to raise my tip, removed the hump on my nose and reduce the size of my nose. Dr kao mentioned when my tip is raised my nose will appear smaller so i have no idea whether did he do any defattening for me. My nose is still super swollen and i hope i am still swollen...if not i hate my current nose size

I did sent him my photo for consultation before i went Taiwan.

Thank you for sharing! I plan to do eyes there and nose. My upper eyelid muscle are weak (Ptosis). He say he use mini incision method.

Gosh hows your healing now? Geezs can see your eye photos ([email protected])??

Btw, you can go inside this forum, see under Thailand thread the recent one which is 100 over pages, someone did double eyelid too and posted her healing (till up to 1 month)...maybe u can compare to see.

Sorry hear your nose is still swelling not the small size u want yet...maybe be patient, I hear online alot ppl say swell takes months for nose to see final shape for some

Dear Serena

Why don't you email the profile of ur nose to the doctor to check with them the price? (take front, side and from underneath the nose)

For me, I did the same thing too. You can email a few Taiwan well known doctors(in the forum) to check with. Dr Kao (he replied fast) and...oops forgot the name of another...you can try google search.
