Hi all, back to post. I didn't tell anyone about my nose job, my friends didn't notice but my relatives did. And they thought Dr Kao did a really good job on me...even though i still find my nose a tad too bulbous.
They were commenting a nose job totally change one's appearance and some of them after seeing my nose wanted to go to Dr kao...

But i jus wanna tell u guys that do not expect much after care from Dr Kao. Maybe he was too busy during my stay there........ :???:

I have received compliments from others but personally the swelling is still there and my nose is still bulbous...have to wait a few months for swelling to disappear before i am able to comment. These r the comments by others and not by me..its too early for me to say whether i am satisfy or not

Initially I wanted to go to dr yang of Artwood but heard many bad reviews of him from fashion guide and several people have advised from going to him in this forum too so he's eliminated from my shortlist. Then I thought dr Jong is good but after reading his attitude and bad service I also eliminated him as well.

Then I drilled down to dr su and dr kao. Though dr kao is not well known for his eyes but his aesthetic views and good service n attitude makes me think that he won't do a bad job for eyes.in fact he is the only doctor to recommend me to do suture first because he said for guys the most important thing is to be natural and suture does that. his rate for suture is also the cheapest among all docs.

Dr su is well known for eyes but she can only confirm with me surgery date after consultation. How can I fly to Taipei just for consultation and then not knowing if I'm able to get a surgery date.

Then I found out about doctor Cher in fashion guide and rave reviews everywhere with his appts fully booked till 2013. But I managed to get a date with him end if this month! Excited but also scared because if he is that well known n popular how come no one in this forum knows about him. and I don't like the feeling that he's so busy until he managed to squeeze a time slot for me... I feel rather pressured....

So any kind souls can share with me their experiences with dr kao, dr su and dr Cher on their double eyelids surgeries?

Greatly appreciate if someone can shed some light.
Dr Kao also advise me to go for double eyelids using suture method and I'm a lady. Is he doing some promotion? Hmmmm.....
Hmmm maybe he feels that suture is better for you? So have you decided that you will let him do your Double Eyelid?

May Anyone?

Post by Aventurine » Fri, 02 Mar 2012 2:35 pm

Dear all

Am heading to see Dr Kao on 16May for nose. But I be heading earlier say maybe 11 May for eyes. Looking for companion. Anyway interested pls PM me.

For eyes, I am still deciding between Dr Yang (2 Yangs but none from artwood). Me have ptosis. Thus I be correcting that and then double eye lid (comes together)

Cheers

Hi,

Sorry but I am a newbie so I cant pm u. I want to do chin implant. I am looking for companion to go Taiwan. We can email and discuss.

I can share lodging and having a companion will make this trip more fun and have someone to take care of you.

If you are going in May, I will apply leave and go with u to consult.

Thanks.

Hi guys,

Just a question. When you go Taiwan to consult, can we do the surgery on the same day or next day?

At most I can stay in Taiwan for maybe 12 days. To consult, do the surgery, and remove stitches if any for chin implant.

I see no point go all the way to Taiwan consult and then return back to Singapore then go Taiwan again to do the surgery.

What are the chin augmentation price range offer in Taipei

Thanks

Dear toheart81

Great to hear that u be joining me!!! We can do the surgery on day 2. But it be better to send email to your doctor to reserve the date for surgery just incase he is occupied. You looking at Dr Kao too? 12 days seems sufficient.

Anyway pls email me at [email protected] to discuss further.

Regards

Dr Kao - Double Eyelid stitching & Filler

Post by ufreak3 » Fri, 09 Mar 2012 9:10 pm

Hi all,

I just did my double eyelid stitching & filler with Dr Kao and back in sg already. Rested for almost a week and the swelling has gone done alot.
Highly recommend Dr Kao for anyone interested in PS.

Dr Kao is definitely a good doc. You cannot fault him on his attitude, delivery and expertise. He is sincere and makes an effort to communicate with you. I am satisfied with the result but just thought that the fold is bit higher than what I desired and the filler has somehow made me look older and haggard... Dr Kao definitely insist on a natural fold for men so as not to look feminine so the fold is ok just that I felt I will have like it to be abit lower. My fold is only about 5mm max. Maybe the swelling has not gone down fully yet so that is why the fold is still high so I am hoping it can nest in a bit more and become narrower.

As for the filler, Dr Kao gave me a big discount and I really appreciate it!
But the filler didnt make me look better but instead made me looked tired and haggard... probably also due to swelling and bruise haven gone away yet but I thought filler has zero recovery downtime? I did filler around my tear duct. I'm worried if this persists, I need to go for another filler to fill up my lower eyelid so that it will be balanced.

Greatly appreciate if someone has the experience to share on double eyelid stitching and filler. How long does it take for the stitching to recover fully and how long does it take for the filler to recover and the selling to go away...

BTW, Dr Kao will be in sg for a 3days talk on rhinology in end Mar or early April I think... I forgot the exact date...
