Hi all ,

I have done surgeries with Dr Kao and Dr chuang, for nose and eyes respectively, will be heading in NOV to bring my mom and her friends to do her eyes etc. Whoever that wanna tag along pls contact me.
I understand that is pretty daunting for those who are 1st-timers, so am offering to help out.
Wish someone offered to help me the last time! I was so freaked out post surgery cox my nose looked like Jackie Chan's! lol!!

Hi! Anyone going to taiwan in Dec or early Jan?
I am planning to go to Dr. Kao for nose reduction and also chin implant.

However it seems like Dr. Kao is more on a conservative side, not dramatic result but natural... i on the other hand hope for a more drastic change, hope to achieve a sharp and small nose and a very sharp chin but not so long....

Do you think i can report to work 1 week after this two procedures?

Hi Worries,

May I know how much is double eyelid surgery by Dr Kim from korea?

How long do you have to stay in korea for the surgery?

Hi aquarius1502, I did alarpalasty, rhinoplasty, augmentation, defatting for my nose. Not sure abt what else or the proper term.
Yes I am happy with the results, it has been 1yr odd frm my surgery and btw, pls do note that micro swelling will last till after 1 yr post surgery, so ur nose WILL gradually become smaller.

I agree with Worries, Dr chuang did not ask me if I wanted to defat my eyelids and went ahead to do so anyway, not tat it is very ugly, but still he shld have consulted my wishes first. My epi scars are not obvious but visible. The experience in his clinic, pre-surgery, during surgery and post surgery was bad.
The nurses were bickering and bitching among themselves and tug at my arm roughly, she even jabbed my hand more than 2x to look for the vein and the 3rd time I screamed out in pain. I cried even before the surgery started.
Mind you, this was after I did my nose with Dr Kao and the experience is HEAVEN and HELL.
No professionalism at all, and no care for their patient.
Few days after my eye surgery, my left eye's epi stitches got slight pus and when I told them abt it, they brushed it off saying its nothing and there is nothing they can do. Desperate, I contacted my Dr Kao and he came with anti-biotics for me at 9pm in the night!

So the bottomline is, I will not recommend Dr Chuang, in fact, this coming Taiwan trip I will be bringing my mum and her friends to Dr Kao and doing their eyes with Dr Kao's fellow surgeon friend Dr Chen for eyes.

Triliogytwist: Dr Kao is not conservative, I think he is good because he makes sure that ur face remains harmonious with your other features. Be sure to bring many pics of the ideal nose u want. I brought tons and I really got what I wanted. LOL
I believe u can report to work, with makeup of cox. Some ppl may have slight bruising but not everyone.

Hi shepherddy
All Revision price in korea are quoted individually. For primary surgery u can get around 1700-2500 sing dollar. Bkclinic is around 2k-2.5k. although price is abt 300 diff from min but they provide Guest house to stay for their patients. Anyway u can do some other research on banobagi and dr kwon Teumips. They are gd for eyelid surgery too. My Soompi frd from Norway had done her eyelid revision successfully with Dr kwon at Teumips on same week with me.
I would love to share to ppl who knows how to appreciate...

Nosecraze, am glad to see you have a positive experience with Dr.Kao.
I have been bugging Dr Kao with like more than 10 emails and he is still replying to my endless questions. However i think my surgery is a little more complicated, cos it requires shaving down of a hump on my nose and also shaving the side of the nose to make it smaller plus tiplasty. I am extremely worry about the absorption rate using ear cartilage for my tip!!!! I am also very afraid of warping and some said septal cartilage is better than ear cartilage as they tend to have lower percentage of warping........so confusing.

Anyone did Medpor Chin implant with Dr Kao? I'm so scare i have to go back for revision every 5-10 years. i am hoping this will be my one and last plastic surgery...

Hi all,
Dr kao does silicon as well. I used a new material that he recommended called silitex. It is goretex with outer coating of silicone.
I also did tiplasty with ear cartilage. So in total I did tiplasty, alarpasty, rhino.
I am happy with my results as many I've met were shocked to know my nose is actually fake cox it looks so natural and all thought I was Eurasian. Lol.
Most importantly, plastic surgeries shld be done to enhance your original look in a most natural way.
When I went for surgery the last time, I brought 3 other friends along, and 1 of them did nt head my advice and went to do her nose with Chuang. End up Chuang did L shape implant for her and when she came back her L shape implant started to potrude from her skin and she had to head back for revision. Now her nose is so thin and pointed, u 1 look know she did plastic surgery.

A good surgery shld leave ppl wondering what u did to urself that made u prettier now. Not 1 look and call you plastic.
Just my humble opinion, hehe.

Silitek is silicone wrapped with goretex, right? I am thinking of gett ing the same if Dr Kao replies.

Is his clinic far from Taipei?

Was yours open rhinoplasty? I was thinking of having closed since it heals faster.
