Hi feline.eyes.
I have been reading about you on the forum. How are you? Is everything turning out to your satisfaction. I hope so cause its depressing whenever you have gone though all that trouble and pain and your not satisfied with it like me. :( Then you have to go through it again a second time. errr. I was doing a lot of research and considering redoing my rhino in Korea until I stumble upon this site and looked at some the doctors work and thought that their work looked more natural. You would always hear about Korea but not really Taiwan but I am glade I found you guys..

Thankful

I am just kinda worried and scared because I don't speak Taiwanese and I don't want to get lost. But I have done some searching and learning some words to get me by hopefully my hand signs and broken Taiwanese is sufficient enough. :D

I hope you mean Mandarin instead of Taiwanese, because not everyone speaks Taiwanese. Some of the people that have been to Taiwan for their surgeries were able to get by quite well, despite not being able to speak Mandarin. As long as you do your research and get a guide book I think you will do fine, especially if you are a savvy traveller. And the transport system is actually pretty good.
Oh, I am sorry I thought they spoke both. Sorry

so tanjh, in your opinion dr kao/gao has better skills than hsu? Why do you feel Hsu is overated?

How much is the difference in price?

I'm thinking of getting like my eyes done with chuang, so I was thinking maybe it's better to just do it altogether, that way I save time and money. But I don't know, I really would prefer to use rib cartillage.

doing together is also a good thing as it safe travelling and can asked for discount however i not sure if those nose doc u looking got do eyelid or not.

i just comment based on the pics i saw in dr hsu website. he may have better work which he doesnt show hence my reviews are solely based on pics which the two nose doc show on their website..

i prefer dr gao works as he does make more prominent nose. dr hsu works are too conservative(hope i put the right word) to me..

however most impt is that u feel comfortable with that doc u choose else dun go..
Golden Rules of PS:
1)If it aint broken, dun fix it / dun fix what u dun need
2)Perfect individual features usually dun yield perfect face
3)Work on your confidence 1st

has anyone posted any experiences with Dr Gao? I have corresponded with Hsu, and since he's like cheaper (ahaha) and has good reviews, I'm considering hiim.

But ultimately, it's the surgeon that does the best noses, and has reasonable fees.

You did it with Chuang right? I rememeber reading it in the other thread.

HI feline.eyes,

I am new to this forum hence i actuallie need some help. You sounded very professional, hopefully you can help!

I am looking to get my face sculpted or re-structured. As my name say. i have a massive face. I have prominent cheekbones which is ok if my jaws are smaller. But it isnt. Hence, i definitely need to "downsize" my jaws. I also have a "lack-of-nose" situation. So, rhinoplasty is a must.

I have an appointment for consultation with Dr Martin Huang but am afraid his consultation will be too overprices and helpless. I have been going thru posts and understand tht there're surgeons in taiwan and korea with good and trusted practice. Please advice where it is best to get my surgery done.

Thanks pal.

Hope to hear from ya!

Feline, good job you are going here. Hope you are healing well. :-)

i m into my 8th month after Dr. Hsu did a wonderful job on my revision from goretex. no warping, more and more defined. I get what I want a less defined bridge nothing pointy or small. It is high so it matches my wide face and high brdige I wld say I am happy with my nose. It is nv meant to be the model perfect nose but I really like it. Maybe, I wld go for minor revision to cover more of my nostrils for mian xiang and maybe get a nicer tip, just maybe.... Too busy with work....

cheers,
dmn

i agreed with tanjhj. :) I prefer Dr kao's work actually, partly because i feel that for the nostril part is very important, prominent yet natural.

Im really comfortable with Dr kao as he sounds more friendly to me and can see that he really is patient in answering some of my ignorant questions.

For Dr kao's price wise, the differences is not alot. You may try to ask for discount if you want. :)
Both Dr Kao and Dr Hsu are specialist ENT doctors in taiwan. Most important is to see you are more comfortable with which doctors.
