Is anyone planning to go to Taipei around end of July/beginning August.
I'm planning to go in for a few procedure, and was wondering if anyone is interested to go along. I'm not too keen to brave the trip myself,.... :P

I am female, 29yrs and will be coming from Australia (speak english and some mandarin). I plan to see Dr. Hsu and Dr. Chuang. If anyone is going around that time and would like to buddy up, please let me know.
At this stage my schedule is quite flexible
:D

Sighs dr chuang is forcing me to take action..

He has not replied to my emails at all.

Who wants to see my failed surgery from dr chuang can PM me for before, after pictures.

Hope to help, and prevent further disasters. :)

*Release of Chuang's botched work*

I am a medical student, and my life has been ruined by Chuang. He does not deserve to be called a doctor.

Since demand has been high to see this botched surgery, I am releasing it to limited extent.

Please bear in mind this is what I requested, but the surgery was failed and did not reach my objectives.

1) Did not want my eyes to be hollow i.e. asked for fat not to be removed.
2) Did not want any elongation of my eyes. Did not want the distance between eyes to be affected or reduced.
3) Wanted a parallel crease.

Chuang was optimistic during consultation and promised all of the above.

The outcome was a failed surgery, maybe he did not receive any plastic surgery training because

1) Eyes are asymmetric. Epi done asymmetrically
2) Epi increased width of eyes about 2- 2.25 mm bilateral.
3) Eyes are hollowed out, making them look haggard.
4) Orbital fats were removed during surgery and shown to me. Size was 20 cent coin, bilateral.
5) Crease is too high at 3-4mm.
6) Epi on right eye is not sharp at all, and looks squarish.
7) scarring present bilaterally on eyelid line.
8) overall result , I look filipono now.
9) crease is parallel-tapered, and will become tapered upon epi reconstruction in korea.
10) As seen, operation was failure.

Doctors have to be academically competent, and a second plus point is to be compassionate.

Chuang is none of them, and is not fit to be a doctor at all. He shouldn't have been admitted to medical school in the first place.

Hey boii18, I would really appreciate seeing the photos. I've been considering going to Wishclinic for a bleph this Aug. but hearing your negative experience makes me a bit nervous and wary of Dr. Chuang's skills and bedside manners. I'm new to this forum so I can't pm you but if you could pm me w/your email it would really be a big help in helping me make my decision. Thanks so much!

angelfern wrote:Hi all,

I read that some doctors use the rib for the entire nose including the tip, do you think it's better as we can avoid the additional pain & scar to the ear?

will using rib on the tip be too hard & stiff? using ear cartilage for the tip should be softer but read that the absorption rate for ear cartilage is very high.

Thanks!
Hi sweetie,

The pain on the ear is nothing worse than a tooth extraction.. And the scar can barely been seen..

Honestly, my nose tip already can poke before my lips reach-out for a kiss! I can't imagine using rib on the tip

I don't felt so much of the absorption on the tip (ear cartilage - 6 month post-opp) probably I have asked Mr. Kao for a maxi tip's height which now turn-up to be very natural :)
