Hi all,

For those who are keen on facial bone shaving, i have some updates since one of my friend has already done it and it's 1 week post op.
I cant go till end of the year!

She did it with Dr Hsieh @ Wish Clinic. Dr hsieh & Dr Chuang are of the same clinic.

She says it's not painful at all, but it's uncomfortable due to the swell...
The 1st 3 days are quite bad but 4th day onwards, she feels better.
The drainage tube when removed is uncomfortable, not exactly painful till it makes u cry though(which i thought it is).

She healed very fast (because she's so diligent to do her cold and warm compress) and she goes back to the clinic EVERYDAY to undergo this light therapy which helps to hasten deswelling.
And she went shopping on the 5th day!!!!!!

She can see herself very different esp the 45degree angle and she's very satisfied with it.
She did malarplasty(cheek reduction) and jaw bone shaving.
I know she's going to be very pretty!

long time no hear from you liao. well yah professional PS clinic like the one she goes offer such free service for customers where they go for check up everyday..

do you know that if do boobs job at wish clinic and some taiwan clinic can get regular free massage? try to get that in singapore.. lol..u tell me which local PS doctors offer such service unless u stay in pte hospital..

Hence i always tell ppl who wanna do their boob jobs to do it at wishclinic or some other taiwan clinic. price abt the same as singapore but u get really good job with good service and after care.. sometimes it pays abit to feel safer and pamper ourselves. not forgetting u get to choose the boobs size awake while dr do the boobs job.. Toking abt customized boobs job..

also those singapore clinic and cheapo PS saloon up north of singapore will try not to see u at all unless u wanna intro ppl or get more PS. every thing also not their responsibility after PS..

thank you for your reply. Actually, the only reason why I came across this website is through the purse forum, I actually did alot of research myself before settling with Dr. Tseng. The reason why I asked you was because you were the one who started this topic about Taiwan, and from your experienced with surgery and visiting, I was hoping you would be more kind and generous enough to help me out. I already emailed Dr. Tseng about the address over two weeks, but haven't got a reply yet.

But thank you for throwing it at my face, although I thought you would be more understanding as we both are women trying to make a difference with our lives.

I would really like to just stick to my initial reply, but really I can't. I do feel bad and admit I could have been a lot less biting. I was just fed up with the dozens of stupid questions thrown at me, both in posts and private messages. "Can I _ ? When can I _? What is the email of Dr _? Blah blah blah..." All things that can be found online or things that are subjected to other factors like your own healing rate or information that were already posted. I do know it is hard and potential patients are scared, and that is why I really do try to answer all questions to the best of my ability. I just wished they would do some of the research themselves. I just don't get how people can be so reliant on random strangers that they have never met. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother. I try to give thoughtful answers but people just take that for granted thinking I am some weird cosmetic surgery guru, which in no way I am. I am extremely unqualified and I only started this thread so everyone who is interested can come together and share information; it does not exist so people can quiz me like I am a directory/jeeves/google. Maybe I brought this upon myself, because really I can choose to ignore the questions... Anyway I will continue to try my best to help answer questions when I can, or at least direct them to the right sources, because I feel bad when I see questions or post ignored. It must feel lousy to be overlook. But I have to draw the line somewhere; I will only answer things that I already know. Don't ask me to write travel guides on places I haven't been to or anything to that extent. Is it just me? Don't people feel bad about asking so much from others?

So for your questions, there are actually many good travel guides in English around. I am sure you can google and find some. You can find some metro maps that will help you in navigating your way around. Once you have the actual address of the clinic, I am sure you can find the nearest metro station. And I am sure Dr Tseng will gladly tell you the nearest metro station and with that, I am sure it will be a piece of cake. As for the incision, again it depends on the doctor right? And when will you look normal, depends on individual. I looked weird even at the one month mark, some people look pretty normal at two weeks. Please scroll through forums and read experiences of others to get a better idea. Especially purseblog, since so many of your forumers there have actually gone to Dr Tseng and I haven't actually read any reviews of him here. So you might be better off asking there for Dr Tseng's information. And if you really are in a rush and need to confirm things with Dr Tseng, call him. All the doctors seem to take forever to reply.

Lol feline. this is what i felt in the beginning and i admit i start to lose temper easily and sounded/posted more "arrogant" some called it. the real reason is not i arrogant but really pissed by the same repeat questions and mistakes... lol u can roughly understand what i feel back then..

u feel why they just dun get it. so simple also have to ask. also u feel they really lazy siah. read abit and do some research also lazy..

Decided to 'resurface' to share abt my friend's bone shaving exp..

Ya it's really wonderful u can go back to do light therapy FREE OF CHARGE to deswell...
NOt to mention the boob job which they include a course of massage 'lessons' to teach you how to do the massage!

N Dr Chuang answers my questions so patiently! I have already been in touch w him since last Oct..and he's still ever so patiently answering my neverending queries! Although he does take a week or 2 to reply, but he tries his best! My friend who is still there now, says that he's really really busy... I hope he rems to rest! keke

She's staying for about a month bcos she's doing lipo w Wish too!
According to Dr Chuang, you can go back aft about 2 weeks.

dimensionspectrum, i feel happy for your friend. that's ALOT of procedures! how much did she spend in total ? if i remember correctly bone shaving is quite a few thousand bucks (sgd).

She spent not more than 22k. Includes accomodation, transportation/shopping AND liposuction for bottom half of body.

I checked with one of the local plastic surgeon, he quoted me 6k-8k for jaw bone shaving and malarplasty is about 16k...so together is about 22k.

She's definitely paying less that that.. Moreover Dr Chuang is so nice, when u do more procedures with him, he gives some discount. Do check w him on that. Case by case..

Oh everyone does pS for different reasons..most may just want to enhance, but i realised some really do want to change & look diff altogether. No right or wrong..as long as the person doing it is happy!!!

Well, somehow he merged his expertise with plastic surgery...
I was told he was an assistant to Dr Chuang, then i guess he followed Dr Chuang long enough and something sparked along the way?

Well, just like Dr Hsu (Kaohsiung) or even Dr Gao(Taipei), they were ENT doctors..
