loukoum dont change a THING, those are cute eyes!!!!! pls dont change it otherwise u wont have those cute anime asian eyes
trust me, in a guy's opinion, i think its really adorable!!
Oh sorry ! there's a complet misunderstood ! I DON'T want to change my eyes for nothing and also DON'T want to look eurasian ^^'.

As Ranconan advice me to do (perhpas) a high bridge which begins from the middle of the eyes , I thought that it will look eurasian, but as I don't really know what it looks likes, I just ask if Ranconan have a celebrity or a picture in mind. Perhaps it's right, but don't know ( I have send an email to Dr Hsu about this question =) )

But, I DON'T want to change anything about my eyes, and search for an eurasian look.
I just want precisely to keep my asian features ^^

Sorry for the misunderstood ^^' ( and thanks about the cute eyes thing ^^ well, it's true that a lot of ppl , asian or not tell me that I have really cute eyes ^^' sometimes thought that I'm wearing Circle lense lol )
May I know where did you get your Circle lenses? I have tried googling around but it seems like most of them have closed down. If you do not mind, can you PM me the link of the blog shop that you have bought them?
oh sorry dear, there's misunderstood number two lol, NO NO I'm wearing precisely NO circle lense ^^' ^^' My eyes are that big and round and that's why I asked if a too higher nose or something else will make me look more eurasian because I DON'T want to lose my asian features. Sorry sorry ^^'

Indeed, Dr Hsu replied me this morning this ( well he didn't metion the eurasian issue I asked him , but he certainly thought about it and included it to his suggestion when replying to me ) :
Dr Hsu wrote:nose can only adjust, lengthen a bit
not can do anynose you want
Actually, I don't think you need a very high and sharp nose
too sharp and point nose will not look cute

Well, for circle lense, I live in france and sometimes I found websites ( but in french or not ) which sell CL , so, I can take a look but I think it'll be expensive with the shipment price so ^^'

Otherwise, is anyone thinking about goint to taiwan for the first week of July ? =)

bbabymilo : hi dear! as i cant pm~ if you're from singapore then i`ll recommend you to purchase from coslenses.blogspot.com. they shipped from msia and the total cost is $25 inclusive of registered mail.

lenses are definitely authentic as i've been purchasing from them for quite some time already. :) and they come with this authenticity check sticker thingy too!

since you have such sweet eyes, i suggest you not to go for too high of a bridge so that u can retain that sweet look =) go for a nose which can further bring out your eyes like i did =)

I think Kaohsiung is the last stop. They make announcements in english though, so don't worry. Btw, Kaohsiung in Chinese sounds similar, so you probably won't miss it either way :)

missuglynose wrote:I have a question for those of you who did your noses with Dr. Hsu - are we required to alternate between cold/hot compresses after 72 hours? I read on other PS sites that this helps increase the blood circulation and speeds up reduction of swelling.

Unfortunately I was given no proper instructions on how to care for my nose after surgery when I left the hospital

By the way, my nose looks quite nice now in real life even though it's only my 5th day, but in pictures it's hoooge! Just wondering, the alar width doesn't go down with the swelling does it? Cos in pictures my nostrils definitely look smaller my the width of the base of my nose is still the same :???:
Thanks for documenting your experience through your blog. It's so informative. May I know where you stayed in Taipei and Kaohsiung? Thanks.

its abit freaky noone speaks english.. or cantonese.. literally! Does anyone know if that bullet train Kaohsiung... makes Kaohsiung the last stop? lol..or else I might be passing it..
The THSR's last stop is actually Kaohsiung. It is called Zuo Ying station. Once u get off from the bullet train, u can actually hop to Zuo Ying MRT station and continue to your destination in Kaohsiung. the MRT station is just beside the THSR station. Good luck with ur PS journey :)

Did my eyes and nose three weeks ago and now that I'm back home
omfg I need to know
when will my nose change shape? Atm my bridge is really quite high =/, and I asked for a natural looking nose.
I heard your nose will change gradually?
and also

MY NOSE IS SO SHINY

holy crap lol
it's summer over here...
makes me so self conscious
when is the shininess gonna go down?

I thought it'd be good to pass along the favor, since I myself benefitted tremendously from other people's postings :) I'm staying at a friends'

u think its difficult going around taiwan without speaking mando? I just got abit freaked out with ppl approaching me and offering to take me around taipei!!! seemed dodgy as Lol...

now I'm paranoid about the taxis too..
It's a challenge, but not impossible. The train stations usually have signs in English. I'd recommend printing/writing (trace the words?) the names of the places you wanna go in both Chinese and English. It's easier to ask for directions that way...I think the younger adults/teens should understand basic English :)

-----------------------------------------------------------

EDIT: I got my cast/stitches removed today! Updated my blog (http://www.missuglynose.blogspot.com) with before after pics! The nose still feels stiff and I kind of don't recognize myself in the mirror, but I'm happy with the nose. I wish I had trusted Dr. Hsu more instead of fretting as I did :)

Hi, I know most of you have updated this forum with your procedures, but I swear it's not humanly possible to read (currently) 66 pages on an iphone.

so would any of you who've used your ear cartilage for your nose PLEASE lemme know again if

1) there's enough cartilage
2) if you went under GA or LA

&other mundane things like that?

thank you sooooo much <3 <3 <3

basically now one of my hugest problems is if i should go GA or LA.

mwah!

To answer your questions:

1. Depends on how high your original bridge is, and how high you want your new bridge to be. Generally, using ear cartilage alone gives you 2.5-3mm increase in height. If you want it higher, you'll have to use rib.

2. For ear it's definitely LA, but Dr. Hsu sedated me so I was unconscious throughout the surgery.
