You guys..... your suppose to have lumps in each nostril actually (if u dont its ok too) its because you have stitching inside your nostrils, the tip is still swelling, i have it too its normal. If you only have 1 lump check to make sure your tip isnt healing crooked.

jamie82 your so pretty! your nose before was slim, were u always born with a slim nose even before going to the thai doctor? u look great now (better then mine) and u will continue to deswell and get better too! lucky

blissful09 : its normal to have lump of flesh in nostril? really? i checked and my tip is healing normally and its straight! only thing is that my right nostril is slightly higher and wider than my left.. probably due to swelling.

We're considering donated rib too, can't seem to find much info regarding the pros & cons of donated rib from the internet. Anyone recall who used donated rib & has some info on it, pls share. Thanks.

We fear that the donated rib he used may be uncompatible & develop complications in the future like silicon (???), despite having to pay more.

Dr Kao haven't reply my email since last sun, so if i sent him another set of questions regarding donated rib, it'll take even longer. lol.

Donated rib didn't even cross my mind so I didn't ask dr. kao, I think its safer if the person is genetically compatible with you like transplants?

Btw, I just emailed him about 1130pm, and he replied me at 1230am.

hi cupcakez, hope you see this, i came across in the other forum. go to the link and see the last post. the forummer's niece had the same problem as you - 3 times for eyes as well, and eventually got her problem rectified by an EYE surgeon (instead of PS).

Thanks for the flattery, and for the valuable info on the lumps.... it was always slim yes but I don't have much of a bridge. The tip and bridge is huge now though, I realised it looks alot bigger in photos with whole head n part of body. Do you feel the same way about yours as well?

Coz, I was quite curious and went to explore taipei 101 area on the eve of my flight back, and popped into a club called room 18 to see what its like, then some photog snapped a pic of mi and I realised how huge my nose looks when the pic came out on their site. I look jewish or something now =X

hmmm yes i guess so mine looks bigger in photos...
but i think your lucky cuz u naturally born with a slim nose, i think these are the best candidates for nose surgery patients because once u build a bridge everything looks much nicer.
For me, i naturally have a flat and wide nose, because my bone on my nose is build wide. Dr Hsu did not break itbut because mine is flat.. be can just add the bone on top of my wide bone.. so it looks quite natural.

i've read and there are ppl who say tht we'll need revision to get rid of it.. is this true? i know this lump is the cause of my swelling as my right nostrils is alot more swollen than my left resulting in my nose looking uneven. im happy with the left part of my nose but the right side is making me depressed..

when u put your q-tip in and lift upwards you feel it on the roof of your inside nostrils right??? there is stitches there but u dont know, so the material and swelling is happening there... i dont think it makes sense to u cuz u dunno how it works.. and i didnt either until my friend explain how it actually works., didnt u use rib cart too????? cuz i did. so idk about u.

why is it super itchy and incredibly painful? if so, then it might be infection, mine was just the lumps in both nostril but it wasnt killing me or anything. it was just swelling. if there is lumps OUTSIDE then u need to get it checked out, hoppe that helpds

well u definately looks full asian so dont worry, your nose looks asian too, a lot of my japanese/chinese friends have your nose. Anyways lots of asians have different types of diff nose thts definately not European nose.. eurasian nose means mixed with white... so one can claim its "eurasian" even tho lots of full blooded asian have these noses, its typical. Its very good your nose didnt change much after surgery, meaning your doc did a natural job.

Dr Hsu has just reply me once again. I have the feeling that he is a little bit cold. I don't know if it's me. Perhaps it's the fact that contrary to where I live where the civil majority is at 18, in taiwan it's at 20 and perhaps that's why I have the feeling that he seems unfriendly to me .. even if I have my parental consent.. Hope that if I go to him, the contact will be better T___T.
