Hi Cupcakez, cupcakez wrote:I'm so sorry you feel so negative about Dr Chuang. I did eyelid surgery with Dr Chuang before. And also did jaw shaving with him before. Ask me anything you need. I'm not unsatisfied but I'm not satisfied either. If that helps.
hi boii18, if that's really the case, it is undeniable he did a bad job. i just hope, that it's all part of the recovery process and you will look better over time. if it's really what you said, then i have doubts abt his skills (even in other procedures). heal well and maybe post up a cropped pic of ur eyes to show us. sometimes you yourself may be too critical and you end up getting more depressed..let it heal..at 26 days, you should'nt be experiencing swelling..i think you SHOULD be at a stage of normal looking eyes but expect ur crease height to go down further. epi i'm not sure but i guess it gets more natural over time as well.boii18 wrote:there is mistake with both art and science. I told him i dont want fat removal or deep set eye and smehow the surgery failed. My epi is also asymetrical and scar is obvious. I also told him that i do nt want my eye longer. He told me he could do that. But, the surgery failed again and make my eye long.
I don't know if you're able to customise goretex. I never asked that question, and maybe I should. I'll find out and let you know. Did Dr chuang use silicone or goretex/medpor on cupidstarz? Do you know if he's charging more than Dr Kao?takuda wrote:cupcakez: would it be possible to customise/shape the goretex since they come in sheets? will it be able to give a natural contour (ie round) forehead, instead of high but squarish (due to the sheets) effect? for one, i know silicon can be shaped and craved to fit ur desired contour. sigh, even though i'm not doing forehead this year, i'm alr undecided over the material. and esp after boii18's reviews, it really makes me question if dr chuang is starting to get more ''production line''. have u seen this old forummer (cupidstarz or smth like tht) his forehead? it was done by chuang and he was one of the first few to go..i gotta say..the results is good..what you'd like..a higher, eurasian like forehead.
On scale to 10 I'd say about 6-7. Initially it was quite nice. Mine was a revision case. So he did fix the problem I had (asymmetry) although still not perfect but it's good enough. But the thing is, I had a more parallel line before although it has begin to drop down alot (the crease height) so it's like a thin parallel. Dr chuang fixed the asymmetry but turns out now I hv more tapered parallel (like boii) so maybe that is his style? I kept asking him why my double eyelid crease always drops down eventually.. and he suggested I do brow lift - not sure yet, afraid I'll look surprised the whole time.bella10 wrote:Hi Cupcakez, cupcakez wrote:I'm so sorry you feel so negative about Dr Chuang. Thank you sooo much for posting. I am seeking to do a revision of my double eyelid surgery (I have a bit of asymmetry), how satisfied are you on a scale of 1-10? How about your jaw shaving procedure, what was that like and how happy are you with it? Any info you can share about anything would be greatly appreciated? Have you already posted your experience? I have read all the post on this thread and all the posts on the "plastic surgery abroad" thread so maybe I read it before.
Also, how did you first get into contact with Dr. Chuang? Did you use the email address on his website? Thanks again for offering your help.
How long had the surgery been? Just to share with you when I had my epi done and super parallel double eyelids done (lol) I look quite freakish for a damn long time. But eventually it looks very good and now I'm only hoping it'll last! But it nv and I have to keep redoing it again..boii18 wrote:there is mistake with both art and science. Average about 6 months to look normal.
how can it be slander, if it is the truth?mintgirl wrote:^ you needa chill '_'
Like it takes time for it to look good. Be patient. Stop slandering the doctor, it's so malicious. I get u had issues, but maybe if you didn't freak out the doctor would be more accomodating to your worries =/
