there is mistake with both art and science. I told him i dont want fat removal or deep set eye and smehow the surgery failed. My epi is also asymetrical and scar is obvious. I also told him that i do nt want my eye longer. He told me he could do that. But, the surgery failed again and make my eye long.

Hi Cupcakez,

Thank you sooo much for posting. I am seeking to do a revision of my double eyelid surgery (I have a bit of asymmetry), how satisfied are you on a scale of 1-10? How about your jaw shaving procedure, what was that like and how happy are you with it? Any info you can share about anything would be greatly appreciated? Have you already posted your experience? I have read all the post on this thread and all the posts on the "plastic surgery abroad" thread so maybe I read it before.

Also, how did you first get into contact with Dr. Chuang? Did you use the email address on his website? Thanks again for offering your help.

hi boii18, if that's really the case, it is undeniable he did a bad job. i just hope, that it's all part of the recovery process and you will look better over time. if it's really what you said, then i have doubts abt his skills (even in other procedures). heal well and maybe post up a cropped pic of ur eyes to show us. sometimes you yourself may be too critical and you end up getting more depressed..let it heal..at 26 days, you should'nt be experiencing swelling..i think you SHOULD be at a stage of normal looking eyes but expect ur crease height to go down further. epi i'm not sure but i guess it gets more natural over time as well.

although this might be inappropriate..maybe you should be glad that ur hollowness can be revised by fat graft? if chuang really did wrong on his part, i think you should demand free fat graft from him..but thats if u still wna go back to him and also, after say 3-4 mths whr ur eyes have fully recovered. lucks. (:

I don't know if you're able to customise goretex. I never asked that question, and maybe I should. I'll find out and let you know. Did Dr chuang use silicone or goretex/medpor on cupidstarz? Do you know if he's charging more than Dr Kao?
Dr Chuang is quite busy and doesn't reply emails as often as before. And of course I can understand why. Everytime you're at his clinic, his time is really scheduled from back to back. I think to be fair, Dr Chuang gives you results but maybe not 100% perfect results with any wow factor. At least it is true for me. I feel it's okay, but not WOW you know. That said, I had doctors who gave me WOW results with damn long downtime. At the end of the day, it still gradually go back to square one. I don't know if PS is a perpetual process where you have to keep redoing to maintain the results. It's quite a chase. And I did have doctors who gave me very bad results as well. So Dr Chuang isn't all bad.

On scale to 10 I'd say about 6-7. Initially it was quite nice. Mine was a revision case. So he did fix the problem I had (asymmetry) although still not perfect but it's good enough. But the thing is, I had a more parallel line before although it has begin to drop down alot (the crease height) so it's like a thin parallel. Dr chuang fixed the asymmetry but turns out now I hv more tapered parallel (like boii) so maybe that is his style? I kept asking him why my double eyelid crease always drops down eventually.. and he suggested I do brow lift - not sure yet, afraid I'll look surprised the whole time.

Jaw shaving is okay, I have very major asymmetry problem and I think he fixed it initially. I also had chin medpor implant inserted (and took out my previous silicone implant). The silicone chin shifted abit. The medpor is harder I find and I asked for sharper chin, so now although it's sharper it's also longer than my previous silicone. Initially its actually too long and I was so worried for very long time. Now it's better although when Dr Kao re-did my nose he made it longer and it's now more in sync with the chin, but the nose after few mths had shrunk abit and my chin starts to look not in proportions again - I'm going for revision w/Dr Kao anyway. What I really hate about jaw shaving is the healing process. My bone I think kind of grow back (don't even ask me how that is possible, evidently it will - and confirmed by Dr Chuang). Quite disappointing but the problem although still significant, isn't as bad as what it used to be. jaw shaving process sucks.. I had numb lips and chin for many many months, it's now a year and I still feel my lower lip is slightly numb.

I don't know if I posted any thread previously? Cannot remember anymore. I emailed him and he used to answer more promptly but like I said replies are getting slower now.. but he will reply eventually, so be patient. Hope this helps.

How long had the surgery been? Just to share with you when I had my epi done and super parallel double eyelids done (lol) I look quite freakish for a damn long time. But eventually it looks very good and now I'm only hoping it'll last! But it nv and I have to keep redoing it again..

YESSSSSSSSSSS that is Dr Chuang's email addresss
But he is incredibly busy. This is the reason why i picked Dr Jong cuz Dr Chuang took way to long to reply me back.. after i already made a appointment with Dr Jong.. and then 1 month later Dr Chuang email me apologizing and quoted me "THE SAME PRICE" as dr jong.. but it was too late cuz i couldnt back out on Dr Jong.

Anyways i didnt get my eyes done by both =D just cuz dr chuang is toooo busy and rush.. and Dr Jong is super rude with no manners in my opinion, he was just totally turn off.. and he is indeed skilled but he doesnt seem gentle.. like i might be in torchurous pain or something lol.

1) advise ppl to repeat things like "I DO NOT want my eyes longer, You are not gonna do this right? So what exactly are you gonna do (make the doctor repeat it)
2) bring in a picture of what you want it too look like
3) get the doctor to keep your pictures after u leave consultation

who did you do your primary with?

btw. just had a horror story from dr chuang ( another one ) told to me by a girl i know on this forum. her friend went to dr chuang for chin implant and he didn't listen as well. she ask for small implant, and he just fitted in a super large one, my friend testified that it looks not nice too. later, she flew back to revise ( after repeated repeated calls , note : she was rudely hanged up too ). she wanted to change to small size implant ( the medpor ) from the big size one put in wrongly. the butcher ( yes dr chuang ), went back on his word during pre-consultation and during surgery he REPLACED the medpor implant. and the girl was FORCED to pay the cost of the medpor ( and who knows, the labour fees too ), out of her credit card. just imagine how scary that story is!

that time i told this girl friend i doing with dr su, so she didnt tell me about this horror story on dr chuang. sighs. i really regret now.

i hope all goes well to those who do with this butcher.

^ you needa chill '_'

Like it takes time for it to look good. Be patient. Stop slandering the doctor, it's so malicious. I get u had issues, but maybe if you didn't freak out the doctor would be more accomodating to your worries =/

how can it be slander, if it is the truth?
if his skill is bad, i admit, but what he did was way beyond that. he lied to me!
he claimed he said many untrue things that never happened during the consultation!
AND to lie to the patient. that is seriously the worst.
i have been to many doctors, and I haven't slandered any of them. i am objective.

i wouldn't be that aggresive, if the results are not that horrible and if i wasn't being lied and cheated to!!!!!!

Does ANYONE get what i am pointing to? medical contempt and negligence!

cupcakez, thanks for sharing ur exp with Dr chuang. I thought jaw shaving was permanent(compared to botox etc)..must really be a pain in the ass if you gotta shave it every year?!?! hope ur jaw turns out well. dr chuang did silicon on cupidstarz if i rmber correctly. not exactly sure about his charges but because i am asking doing it tgt with mini brow lift (sounds scary but i have drooping brows zz) and he quoted me ntd 120k for the mini lift and implant - same incision. sounds reasonable to me, but i'm not sure about implant alone.

just wondering, which were the docs who gave you the WOW results? and on what procedures? teheee.

and no, i do not think ps is (well it should not!!) a perpetual process (esp when you're talking bout shaving etc which is considered major). ur eyes seem to be pretty difficult to deal with and you should really get it done once and for all!! :p

Boii18, not to the extent of slandering though, i do feel you're extreme and harsh with the words, which MAY be true. Wait for his reply and see what he has to say. Like what cupcakez said, she only saw her eyes looking good after a few months.

Hi, I am thinking of a revision rhinoplasty with rib cartilage/donated rib. There seems to be a lot of good comments on Dr. Jung Dong-Hak from Korea and Dr. Hsu from Taiwan.

Anyone has done a revision rhinoplasty (esp. with rib cartilage/donated rib) with either Dr. Jung or Dr. Hsu? Was it good? How much did they charge? Thanks for sharing.
