I am already in my 2nd week of healing since chin augmentation and buccal fat removal and facial liposuction.

I have mine done by Dr Tsai and i must profess he is really a professional doctor. My initial plan was to do it with WISH Clinic and apparently i was dissatisfied with the services and advice from Dr hiseh.

For anyone out there who considered bone structure surgery, Dr tsai is the one..

Im happy with my results well though it still swells..
I was thinking of going for nose & chin surgery...
But i want to do nose with Dr Hsu or Dr Kao.. While was thinking of chin with Dr Tsai..

Which one should i do first? I intend to go there once to finish both procedure..

May i know how much did Dr Tsai charge you for chin implant + Facial lipo? May i know what exactly is buccal fat removal? I think i need that! I've quite a bit of double chin ._."

Hi everybody! Sorry for not having introduced myself for starters! I have spent the whole day reading this thread, and it caused a tremendous headache, :???: !

So to make a long story short: I am Vietnamese and live in Belgium. I had a nose job on the 23rd of July 2008. The bridge and tip have been augmented with GORE-tex and the nostrils narrowed.

The implant has shifted so my nose is now crooked, the tip is hard, and the nostrils are a bit too narrow (one is smaller). The result looks unnatural: the front is too I-shaped, it should be more triangular like a button nose. Besides, the projection is exaggerated, while I prefer a slightly downturned tip.

I am looking for a revision rhinoplasty including removal of the GORE-tex implant, widening the bridge (the pre-op width) and nostrils slightly, making a rounder tip, and restoring the little hump (I loved my hump so much). I prefer my original profile (lower position of the radix which lends my face a juvenile look). I am very conservative and I think that the post-op nose looks to Westernized.

Click on the links below to have a look at my pictures.

I should probably have done an alar base reduction and a tip definition, but I have been to greedy wanting a bridge augmentation as well. This being said, I didn't know that I would end up with such a nose, as the explanation during the consultation was quite vague.

I am not aiming for the sharp Korean beauty, see below:

Do you think that my original height was high enough? Because I do think it was already quite high, for starters.

Oh, before I forget this: I had my primary nose job done by Dr. Lansangan from the Shimmian Manila Surgicenter. I don't recommend him. You can read other bad reviews about him on Purse Forum.
I saw your pics and I get what you mean =/ I think too many doctors are not aware of cultural considerations and I totally get what you feel about looking too westernized, especially when living in the west (I used to cling on to my asian identity more overseas lol).

I honestly wouldn't have noticed much cept the nose is a little crooked and I think that you have a petite face with nice pretty features, so you can afford a variety of noses but yea, I'm no expert but I think its the upwards tip angle which probably makes a nose look juvenile or the reverse more "boyish" looking? The bridge in my opinion isn't necessarily a bad thing - you could ask the doctors for their opinion on how the radix would look like lower - what I generally heard is that the highest part of the radix should start from the upper lash as a rule of a thumb.

This taiwanese model, has kinda like a downwards tip, widish nasal bones and a hump as well comes to mind

And the former Speed Member Takako also has a downwards tip I think and a roundish tip.

Bridge height wise I can't think of anyone am sorry.

Surgeon choice wise I think Dr. Kao seems to be less conservative compared to Dr. Hsu judging from his results, I haven't tried either yet but I've booked for Kao. My two cents.

I was really satisfied with my original lateral profile: bridge (radix included) was really ok, high enough, no need to add 4 bloody mm. My main concern was tip and nostrils.

What is your concern, btw? Sorry, it's been a while I haven't checked the forum... and browsing through it again is not particularly thrilling.

I am hesistating between dr. Hsu and Anil Shah. I like their conservative style. But I don't know a lot about Shah's work on Asian patients. And he quotes my revision 7800$!!! Whereas Hsu asks for 120.000 NTD. Quite a gap... But then again, communicating with Hsu is not that easy. I am never sure whether he understands me fully, because of the language barrier.

Hi boii18,

I don't have msn, will probably create one then pm you.
I'm not doing anything, going to attack all the food in taipei.
my sis will be doing her levator & double eyelids at Dr Jong.
Is Dr Hsu better? we're very fast, only emailed Dr Jong to enquire then settled.

thinking of doing eyelash transplant at Dr Jong but very scared, both posts from here & Hatyai's thread showed the girls cried during the process, must be very painful.

then need to perm the lashes every month somemore, imagine, if i'm old & retired, no money to eat already still have to spend money to perm my eyelashes. ha ha.

Hi Pinkyice, can update on your eyelashes please. thanks!

I'll be going on Jan 5th to 16th to Dr. Kao... haven't decided whether to use ribs or ear yet =X

The thought of removing ribs sounds scary still, let alone having it on my nose... did anyone decide on the day of the consult itself on what material to use?
