EPEC and look for jobs

Post by n1cha » Tue, 27 May 2008 4:53 pm

Hi,
I have my EPEC approved last month and is going to move to Singapore in the end of June. and normally I'll get 1 month visa.
I want to know do I need to apply for LTSVP to look for jobs while in the 1 month visa? or I can look for jobs right after I land in Singapore (before applying LTSVP)?

what status do I need to let the employers know? whether I hold EPEC or what?

and normally, if I get an offer, will the employer apply for EP or I can get a PR?

and how long is the average time for people having EPEC to look for jobs in Singapore?

Is it better to hold EPEC or LPR? is it worth it to apply for LPR when I already have EPEC?

Thanks!
