Media & Advertising Industry in Singapore

I am going to be moving from South Africa to Singapore and would like to know about the advertising industry.

My title in SA is Channel Planning Director, and I cant seem to find anywhere that gives salaries or info on this (essentially Media Planning)

What is media planning like out there? I would be working for an independent and not an ad agency. I will have 7 years experience in the field at the time I go to Singapore
