a quickie on those hoping to get a quick credit of money in your bank accounts...
if you have filed electronically and requested the e-filing fee to be deducted from your refunds without requesting for the refund to be deposited directly to your account, you'll have to wait to get a check via snailmail...
those who filed with taxcut or turbotax will also be getting their checks in the mail... sometime down the road.
but the above won't apply if you had paid the e-filing fee by credit card or have checked the appropriate box on the form.
also for those who chose to get refund loans from tax prep service or used a private tax prep service (eg, jackson hewitt), and those who chose to split the refunds into 2 accounts, a delay shall apply!
2 month wait, IRS said! let the thumb twiddling begin! (naturally, the delay on $300 for your kid also applies)
quack quack.
