Horse riding in JB!

Post by click123 » Thu, 22 May 2008 10:59 pm

I'm looking for like-minded friends who can join me in JB for horse-riding during weekends. The horses are fantastic and well-taken care of. The place has a scenic trail among plantation trees and near a beach. I don't drive and rely on their public transport, which is a bit of a hassle. Great if you have car and hopefully we can form a group to share the transport cost. Please pm me if interested. Thanks!

Please furnish the Company/Stable name and contact numbers in your next post or edit your earlier post and put the information there as you have only just registered, dug up some old threads to push what ever it is you are pushing.

AS you are posting the same information in the same Forum in multiple threads, this is considered spamming. You have not posted anything else except touting this horse riding gig. I am inclined to think you might be advertising or touting for commissions. I don't like to think that way because you might end up getting banned.

We don't like to see solicitations for business in the threads. We also don't like to see secretive "please PM me for details" so please post the information required for all of our readers benefits.

To the moderator
The reason why I didn't pose the name of this horse riding place is because I'm not trying to advertise for them. There are many forummers here who post the same things in multiple forums, for me it's only 2 postings, what spamming are you talking about?

Multiply posting the same information especially in dredged up old threads is a normal trick of advertisers & spammers. If you are not one, then you should not get upset about us deleting the multiple post, learn a lesson and draw a line under it and go from there.

If you hadn't posted like a typical underhanded advertiser then we would not suspected you of being one. You should do some reading here first so you do not run afoul of our policies.

We always welcome recommendations for those who have used services and are answering a query (with the exception of Real Estate Companies). When one registers to say call me/PM me without giving our readers the necessary information to call the company themselves, it looks like an advertiser or agent. (Especially when registers only to do so - as it appears you have done).

You are lucky. We just normally don't even bother and just delete the posts and lock the account. We have to delete probably upwards of 1~200 posts a day between all the mods and admins so we don't have the time to play patty-cake with each and every advertiser or spammer. All of us work full time jobs as well.

Anyway, before she left in a huff and deleted her last post, I managed to secure the website with information for the Stable she could have just recommended and is posted below for your information:

It's a bit heavy-handed, mod. I don't think anyone would suspect the guy of advertising...

PM sent regarding the horse riding thing :)
