For Citizenship Registration

Original and a photocopy of the Renunciation letter of foreign citizenship
Anyone have the sample of the Renunciation letter of foreign citizenship, or we have to obtain it from our own high commission ?

Any exception that we could obtain Singapore citizenship without the renunciation of current citizenship ?

thanks

I believe that under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will Singapore allow dual citizenship. It's just the way they are here.

Check out their website for more info but from what i've read here on the forum there are no exceptions.

I haven't seen the text or format of a renunciation letter

In answer to your second, technically & legally, no.

fx8fx, some countries have provisions for resumption of citizenship. the United Kingdom is one such country. However, this can only be achieved once, and only applies to born-citizens. So, that is one option for you, if your original country has such provisions.
