Health Threat

Post by ksl » Wed, 21 May 2008 2:40 am

While doing some research i discovered that Sodium Benzoate is a very real health risk, it's a preservative in many beverages, also called E211. USA FDA & UK are concerned, with UK parliment wanting answers. Although the drinks industry isn't listening while counting their $!

Anyway here's the link read for yourself, Coke have actually done something about it this year, and withdrawn it from diet coke. Although the food standard agencies are ignoring scientific facts from last year, an investigation is being held. A bio-chemist claims it reacts with vitamin C, and changes into benzene, read all links, because you will also see, that additives have been banned, especially colours, that cause hyperactivity and allergic reactions in children. The sodium benzoate makes you age more quickly and its in all fizzy drinks as a preservative, so drink vinegar, your much safer! At least the latter is 100% natural!

I also have a report on vinegars, which will surprise you all too, especially when it shows Apple Cider vinegar against other vinegars, although you will have to PM me with email address. The report is done in Canada on various vinegars on the market.

It actually busts many myths of Apple Cider Vinegar, in terms of health benefits against some other vinegars, I would recommend it to anyone, that is concerned with health and lifestyle changes.

Exactly! Although one could research all the amino acids one by one, and all the krebs cycle acids, But I can say that apple cider vinegar, doesn't have so many health benefits, because of a lack of acids and coenzymes.
Balsamic appears to win hands down, probably because of a longer fermentation process, although it's not a beverage, and can be a health hazard if consumed by drinking, because of the potency of acid.

The mother vinegar, cultured bacteria, is what makes a drinking vinegar, without vinegar taste for obvious reasons, it's a trade secret.

Plum turned out to have more benefits, and it is also believed by chemists, that the body increases the effects once consumed. I also discovered myself, that Aloe is a natural laxative, and when fermented, the potency is increased, that's why they call it a fast detox, along with orange.

All those E numbers, I'm not sure if they are man made chemicals or not, although many people have suspected, the additives for a long time, for hyperactivity....

The report is a word document, to large to be posted here 144KB I have two actually, they are of course commissioned for analysis, by a brand name manufacturer, although I have no doubts about the authenticity, because the bio-chemist is very well known in the food & beverage industry, it would be more than his career was worth, to be biased!

It did also cross my mind. but it would only serve to defeat any progress made in research, I really don't understand how a natural organic product can be so neglected in research, must have something to do with cost.
