wedding ring big deal for italians?

i've known an Indonesian male and a local male who are both married but don't wear wedding rings. though i also have some caucasian male officemates who wear wedding rings, that i assume they must be married. in a nutshell, i guess wedding ring or the lack of it can't be trusted to know one's status. but i wonder if wedding rings are big of a deal for italians..generally speaking?i see(for the lack of a better term since we're not friends in the real sense) an italian who doesn't wear a wedding ring, but can't ask him straightforward (not yet) if he's single or married. ..

Now days all that old stuff about ring finger etc doesnt really mean much if you like to wear rings necklaces ear rings upto you and where you wear them

...so you just have to be super nosiey and ask him.

Roman Catholic Culture, depends also on age I guess, he could also be gay too don't forget:D If he's good looking, why get married, much more fun being single and a gigolo

going to confession every month or two!

since this is the rubbish forum, i posit stalking him and dive through his garbage.

any spousal or gay-paraphernalia will turn up eventually and by then you'll be ready...

to flee from what guys truly are: lazy, smelly things who don't enjoy wearing pants!

just kidding. i think!

(for what it's worth, 1. my wife doesn't wear her wedding band or engagement ring with much regularity, and doesn't mind if i don't wear mine either and 2. married italian americans i know almost always wear their wedding bands except on our boys' night off!)
