that there's no FOX SPORTS in the asia-pacific region. so i miss out on some base ball games.

there's no full coverage of ball games on ESPN either. they just screen so much cricket and rugby here in the pacific.

oh my god.

i miss american tv. PERIOD!

p/s: i take away that PERIOD! i also miss american radio. i miss xm radio. i miss XM71 and XM150.

pp/s: i hate the fact that some parts of this region DON'T HAVE UNLIMITED BROADBAND INTERNET ACCESS SO STREAMING XM ONLINE'S A REAL NO-NO UNLESS I WANNA PAY $5,000 IN BILLS... AGAIN.

ppp/s: i hate the fact i'm missing spring in nyc.

quack quack quack...

pppp/s: what do YOU miss about home!

Cricket is designed to be played quickly when a test match lasts a week? Who's kidding whom?

There is one day matches and the 20-20 games for those that dont have that long of an attention span.

that slingbox would worked if i still had directv or some kinda cable/sat tv system hooked up back home.

otherwise i might get only the local channels: plus, there's no one living in my place, so i'm not sure if leaving the system plugged in and powered up is the right way to go.

perhaps i should fanagle or lure a friend into doing the slingbox setup for me. WAHAHAHAHAA....

perhaps i should have spent more time making more friends.

I'm Malaysian (which means I'm practically Singaporean anyway), but the family moved to NZ.

If home = Malaysia
I miss
- cantonese movies with no crappy mandarin voice overs
- the local food

If home = NZ
I miss
- the weather
- the people
- I even miss those irritating WAREHOUSE advertisements.
- Burger King (the BK here is crap)

Man, I really miss American/Canadian sports too. Especially the NHL, we didn't even get the Playoffs down here! I don't mind the sports we do get, other than the fact that we have several channels dedicated to re-runs of soccer matches day after day, like ESPN classic out of control!

Taaake me out to the ball game...

Yeah, I manage to catch it sometimes, but 95% of the time all they have are Yankees games! I don't know if I've sunk that low yet.
