OS POSTAGE

Postby ozchick » Fri, 16 May 2008 7:01 pm

Since the pocal postage stamps don't have any 'value' on them can one use them (multiples of) to post overseas? Just wondering.
'Are you trying to tempt me because I come from the land of plenty?'

ozbroiler,

I've been sending mail to the US doing that for donkey's years. As long as you use a calculation of 22¢ (I think that's local 1st class postage - check the SingPost site) then put enough of the local no price ones on to equal the rate needed. For the US it used to be $1 postage so 5 stamps was okay. Never had a bounce yet.
