Hi there,
Trying to find answers to a difficult subject for Singaporeans. We have been living together with my partner for 16 years. Had our Civil Union in Switzerland last year. My partner has been promoted to head his financial company office in SG . He has started and has found a lovely house for us.
Stuck in London, trying to find the right way to enter SG without having to get out of the country every 30 days.
Also would like to work in the wine business or create my own .
Any tips welcome. Have never been to SG and don't want to take a job without seeing the place and the people first.
Thank you very much

You are out of luck. No way Singapore will give you any kind of visa other than a tourist visa. They do not nor will not encourage that kind of arrangement regardless of what other countries do.

First of all please read the sticky entitled 'IMPORTANT ALL USERS PLEASE NOTE' hence the deletion of your post. However, in reference to what you ask and mentioned you are wasting your time!
Homosexuality is an offence in Singapore so there is little point looking for support for your intentions on the forum regardless of what others may say or imply and that includes newspapers infamous for their inaccuracies.

Despite the legal issues, there are many in Singapore living an alternate lifestyle.
However, you will need to find your own way to obtain a visa.
To say the government does "not encourage that kind of arrangement" is an understatement.
What Plavt said is the way it is.
If you have the means, set up your business.
However, since you know nothing about SG, best to contact those already in the trade to get a start.
You should know how to use a search engine (e.g. Google) to find a local forum more appropriate for your situation.
I have no idea what the moderator deleted, but if it stunk of arrogance, you had better lose that fast.
There are already far too many arrogant expats in Asia.

All the previous posts are correct. Although it's not an approved lifestyle, it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. I know of one such couple, both male, both came in on their own EP, no problems. I suggest you do the same, if you plan to stay here longer than a visitor's pass. Good luck.
