If you hold an Australian passport you enter on a normal 90 day visa...then get MoM to give you your card and sort it from there.

If I actually understand what you're asking???

Are you Australian or a Local Secondary school student who doesn't know how to write in English? Sorry, I meant Primary School. They approved an employment pass with that kind of writing? What's the country coming to?

Hi there

You obviously got a job with the sms company!

For your information you bring your letter of approval with you when you enter singapore they give you a stamp and then in the next week or so go down to the ministry of manpower office and get all the stamps and passes.

Even you dont need the letter of approval. Perhaps will make things easier, but I forgot to print mine (last minute packing/arrangements as usual) and no problem, I entered singapore as a tourist (30 days for spanish) and went to MoM in my first week here and got the pass.

The letter will avoid questions when inmigration sees that you enter SG with one-way ticket, but they just will tell you how serious offence is to stay longer than the legal time in SG as a tourist. After telling you that 100 times, you can enter in SG :)
